Assalam alaikum my brothers and sisters.
As we celebrate eid-mawlid al-nabi, the birth of our holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). While some may call this an Eid, it is, in essence, a profound moment of reflection. It's not just a celebration of a historical event, but a commemoration of the mercy, guidance, and light that he brought to the world.
Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was not born into royalty or power. He was an orphan and the last messenger of ALLAH who was sent to all mankind, he’s the beacon of truth and justice. His life was a living testament to compassion, patience, and humility. He taught us to love our neighbors, to care for the poor, and to stand for what is right, even when it is difficult.
Today, as we remember his birth, let us also remember his message. Let us strive to embody his character in our daily lives. Let's be people who spread peace, not hatred; people who show kindness, not cruelty; and people who build bridges of understanding, not walls of division.
This celebration is a beautiful reminder that the Prophet’s legacy lives on in our hearts and in our actions. May we all be inspired by his example to become better individuals and to contribute to a more peaceful and just world.
Thank you, and may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon all of us.
