Dear Business Leader,
“A business run by whipping up sentiments rarely survives”.

You will collect lots of comments and emotional support but in the end it is what happens in the bank account that really matters.

Here are some things you should focus on instead:

💰 How to get people to actually buy what you are selling

💰 How to keep your costs as low as possible

💰 How to delight your customer all the time, everytime so that they keep returning and they refer you

💰 How to engage competent people to help you build the business

💰 How to gather and use data to make informed decisions

This last point is really key because that is what will remove you from the realm of sentiments into real business leadership.

Of course everything I have written here only matters if you are interested in building a genuine business.

Otherwise, please carry on whipping up those sentiments and ignore this post.

Today I'm sharing some key areas you need to review when you do go ahead to carry out your monthly review.

Evaluate your revenue, expenses, and profit margins to ensure financial health. Track cash flow, review invoices, and assess profitability to make informed financial decisions

In this same period exactly 2 years ago, I was fighting for my life!

I had a tough battle with a very bad reaction to a malaria drug, and I ended up facing something called Steven Johnson Syndrome.

Hmmm…

I lost my sight!

I struggled to breathe and was on oxygen for many days!

Worse was my entire skin was blackened and peeling off with blisters like I had been in a fire incident.

Mehn! It was rough but I thank God!

I survived!

And to God's glory I am still kicking and thriving.

Recently, a friend who saw me in the hospital during those tough days couldn't believe how well I'm doing.

Life is a rollercoaster, and I'm just riding the waves with gratitude.

I am grateful to God for life, for sight (even though I now have to rock eyeglasses) and that I can breathe God’s freely given air on my own.

Many things we take for granted but today I am just grateful

Now let me ask you - what are you grateful for?
