Warm greetings from Nakorji International School, Lapai. We are delighted to welcome you all back to school after a long and refreshing break. We trust the holiday period was pleasant and beneficial.
We wish to inform you that school will officially resume on the 12th of this month. Upon resumption, academic activities will begin with revision classes, which will then be followed by examinations. This approach is to help our students adequately recall and prepare for their assessments.
Our teachers are fully ready and committed to supporting the students to achieve their best during this period. We kindly encourage parents and guardians to ensure punctuality, regular attendance, and adequate preparation for their children.

Nakorji International School successfully held its Inter-Class Jolly Phonics Competition today, Friday, 21 November 2025. The event featured pupils from all primary classes, who participated actively to demonstrate their understanding, pronunciation skills, and mastery of Jolly Phonics sounds taught so far.
The competition was well-organised and showcased the pupils’ growing confidence and academic progress. After a keenly contested series of rounds, Primary three 3 emerged as the overall best, distinguishing themselves with excellent performance and teamwork.
The school commends all participating classes for their effort and celebrates the dedication of the teachers who continue to support the pupils’ learning.

Nakorji Intl. School vs.Teleios Intl. School

Played on the Telious International School field, the match delivered thrilling action from start to finish.Teleios opened the scoring with an early goal, energizing their home crowd. Nakorji International School responded with determination and equalized to make it 1–1.
Both teams fought hard for a winning goal, but strong defense and impressive goalkeeping kept the score level. The match ended in a well-deserved 1–1 draw, showcasing skill, teamwork, and great sportsmanship from both sides.

Nakorji International School Lapai
Excursion to the Cattle Farm
Date: 18th November, 2025

Our students recently visited a local cattle farm as part of their educational excursion. The trip provided them with a practical understanding of animal care, farm management, and food production. They observed how cattle are fed, groomed, and sheltered, and learned about the daily responsibilities of farmers.

The students were excited to see the animals up close and asked engaging questions throughout the tour. The visit was both fun and informative, giving them a deeper appreciation for agriculture and the hard work behind it.

Overall, the excursion was a memorable learning experience for everyone.

NAKORJI INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL HOLDS INTER-HOUSE INSPECTION – NOVEMBER 13, 2025

The atmosphere at Nakorji International School, Lapai was filled with excitement and friendly rivalry as students, teachers, gathered for the school’s Inter-House Inspection. The event, held on Thursday, November 13, 2025, showcased discipline, unity, and school pride as each house competed to outshine the others in organization, creativity, and teamwork.

The day began with a colorful parade as the four houses Red House (Unity), Blue House (Peace), Green House (Progress), and Yellow House (Excellence) marched into the school arena, dressed in their vibrant uniforms. Each house proudly displayed its banner, chanting motivating songs that echoed across the school grounds.

The inspection team, made up of the school’s management, and other teachers as judges, moved from one lineup to another, assessing neatness, coordination, uniformity, and discipline Students stood tall and confident as their efforts over the past weeks were finally put to the test.

Teachers also played their part, guiding their houses with enthusiasm and ensuring that every detail from uniforms to formation — reflected the true spirit of Nakorji International School.

After a morning of intense competition, the judges tallied their scores, and Red House (Unity ) emerged as the overall winner, praised for their outstanding coordination and impressive teamwork. Other houses received commendations for their spirit, creativity, and effort.

The Principal, Mr Adamu Abdullahi Lakpin , congratulated all participants for their dedication, noting that the event was not just about competition but about fostering discipline, teamwork, and school pride.

The inspection concluded with group photographs, refreshments, and heartfelt celebrations, leaving everyone inspired and already looking forward to next edition.
