*Police Secondary School Minna Set for Triple Landmark Celebrations*
Police Secondary School Minna is set to host a series of historic events from tomorrow, Thursday, July 24th, to Saturday, July 26th, 2025. The school premises are already abuzz with activity as preparations intensify for a triple celebration: the birthday of former Inspector General of Police, Sir Mike Okiro and dedication of the Catholic Church, and the commissioning of a newly built ultra modern dining hall, all culminating in the grand Passing Out Parade .
Preparations for these significant occasions officially began today. Among the early arrivals was the Force Education Officer (FEO) , ACP Ibidapo Oludare Olubiyi, who is serving as the Chief Host of the events. ACP Olubiyi, accompanied by the Director of ICT, Mrs Juliet Joseph from the FEO Headquarters in Abuja, conducted a detailed inspection of the new church and the venue designated for Sir Mike Okiro’s birthday celebration.
Later in the day, the celebrant himself, Sir Mike Okiro, arrived at the school and joined the FEO on a tour of the facilities to review final arrangements for his birthday festivities.
The Commandant and host of the events, CSP Haruna Ibrahim, has been working assiduously to coordinate logistics and ensure the smooth ex*****on of the celebrations.
Today's activities saw the distribution of sanitary pads to the female students in the school by an NGO as part of the birthday celebration.
With dignitaries and guests already arriving from across the country, the three day celebration is poised to attract high profile personalities from various sectors, making it one of the most significant and memorable events in the school’s recent history.
