🍚 Skills Acquisition Activity – Jollof Rice Cooking! 🍚
Yesterday, our pupils had an exciting and delicious Skills Acquisition session as the last practical lesson of the Summer Coaching programme at Mother Mary Catholic Nursery & Primary School!
The learners were taught how to prepare and cook Jollof Rice. Under the guidance of their instructors, the children carefully followed the cooking process — from washing the ingredients to seasoning, stirring, and finally serving their own tasty plates of Jollof Rice.
This hands-on activity helped the pupils develop important life skills such as cooking, following instructions, teamwork, and personal hygiene in the kitchen. It was both fun and educational, and the children thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
We are very proud of all the learners who participated actively and showed great interest and enthusiasm throughout the lesson.
As we conclude the practical sessions of our Summer Coaching, we thank all the parents, teachers, and instructors who made these valuable skills-acquisition activities possible. At Mother Mary Catholic Nursery & Primary School, we remain committed to equipping our children with both academic knowledge and useful practical skills for life.

💇‍♀️ Skills Acquisition Activity – Hair Styling & T-Shirt Customization! 👕

Our pupils had another exciting and creative Skills Acquisition session today as part of the ongoing Summer Coaching programme at Mother Mary Catholic Nursery & Primary School!
The children were taught how to create different beautiful hairstyles and also how to customize names on their T-shirts. Under the guidance of their instructors, the pupils practised various hair-styling techniques and personalised their T-shirts by writing or designing their names on them.
This hands-on activity helped the children develop creativity, fine motor skills, attention to detail, and practical life skills. It also gave them the opportunity to express themselves and take pride in their own unique styles.
We are very proud of all the pupils who participated actively and showed great interest and enthusiasm throughout the session.

Skills Acquisition Activity – Soap & Izal Making! 🧼

Our pupils had an exciting and practical Skills Acquisition session today as part of the ongoing Summer Coaching programme at MOTHER MARY CATHOLIC NURSERY & PRIMARY SCHOOL!

The students were taught how to make soap, Izal Air freshener. (disinfectant). Under the guidance of their instructors, they carefully followed the production process, mixed the ingredients, and produced their own finished products.

This hands-on activity helped the children develop valuable life skills, creativity, and entrepreneurial knowledge. It also taught them the importance of hygiene, safety, and the practical uses of the products they made.

We are proud of all the pupils who participated actively and showed great interest and enthusiasm throughout the session.
