🕛 IMPORTANT UPDATE 🕕

JAMB Closes Registration This Month. Do Not Be Caught Unaware

This month is critical for every UTME candidate. JAMB registration is coming to an end, and there is no extension promise you should rely on. If you are still taking things casually, this is your wake-up call.

Here are the key JAMB activities you must take seriously this month:

• Mock examination selection closes on 16th February, 2026
If you intend to write the mock, ensure it is selected before this date.

• Sale of JAMB e-PIN ends on 26th February, 2026
No e-PIN, no registration. Do not wait till the last minute.

• UTME registration officially closes on 28th February, 2026
After this date, the portal shuts. Late stories will not help.

* The 2026 JAMB mock exam slip reprinting is scheduled to begin on April 5, 2026.
This enables candidates to print their examination slips, which contain details such as the venue, date, and time for the mock examination.

Key details regarding the 2026 Mock Examination:
* Mock Exam Slip Reprinting: April 5, 2026.
* Mock Examination Date: April 10, 2026.
* Main Exam Slip Reprinting: April 18, 2026.
* Main UTME Examination: April 25 – May 5, 2026.

My advice is simple. Complete your registration early, confirm every detail, and keep checking this platform for official updates. Avoid rumors and shortcuts that can cost you this year’s admission.

This exam matters. Your future plans matter. Take the right steps now so you do not regret later.

Wishing you a focused, productive, and successful month ahead.

📣 ATTENTION ALL JAMB CANDIDATES – IMPORTANT EXAM UPDATE!📣

Are you checking your JAMB slip and still not seeing your exam centre, date or time even after registration? Don’t panic — here’s what’s happening and what you must do now 👇

🛑 WHY YOU DON’T SEE YOUR EXAM DETAILS

After you register with JAMB, your exam centre, date and time are NOT automatically assigned until you reprint your JAMB examination slip. This slip contains your personalised exam details — without it, you won’t know where and when you’ll be writing.

✅ WHAT YOU SHOULD DO RIGHT NOW
➡️ Reprint your JAMB exam slip
This is the only way to access your assigned exam centre, exam date and exam time. JAMB opens the slip reprinting portal before the UTME starts so candidates can confirm their details and plan accordingly. We will keep you updated on this.

📌 IMPORTANT REMINDERS

✔ You must physically print your slip — showing it on your phone won’t be accepted at the exam hall.
✔ Your slip will show your exam venue, date and exact time — critical info you cannot miss.

📢 HELP A FRIEND
👉 Share this post now with everyone preparing for JAMB — don’t let anyone show up on exam day without knowing their centre, date, or time.
Your success starts with being informed — 🎯📄

*🔥 IMPORTANT REMINDER FOR 2026 JAMBITES*

🏫 *UNIVERSITY TYPES YOU SHOULD UNDERSTAND BEFORE CHOOSING*

Choosing the right university is just as important as choosing the right course. Don’t let hype mislead you - here’s the real breakdown 👇

🏫 FEDERAL UNIVERSITIES
- Very highly competitive nationwide
- Strict cut-off marks (both JAMB & Post-UTME)
- Admission process is usually slower
- School fees are cheaper compared to private universities
- Best if you have strong scores and patience

🏫 STATE UNIVERSITIES
- Moderate competition
- Indigenes often have better chances
- Cut-off marks are usually more flexible
- Fees are higher than federal, lower than private
- Good option if you’re from the state or close to it

🏫 PRIVATE UNIVERSITIES
- Fast admission process
- Little or no strike issues
- Lower competition
- Higher school fees (be financially ready)
- Best if you want certainty and stability

🔑 FINAL ADVICE:
📍Choose a university that matches your score, finances, and admission chances.
No pressure, no comparison - your journey, your pace.

🔥
Share with friends so they also can make the right choices.

*IMPORTANT JAMB UPDATE*

Please read this carefully

JAMB has fully activated a new admission rule during registration, and many candidates are already seeing it on their portal.

What the message means in simple terms

If you were previously admitted into any tertiary institution through JAMB, whether you resumed or not, JAMB already has that record.

From the portal message:

It clearly states the school and course you were admitted into.

JAMB does not allow a candidate to run two programmes at the same time.

If you are currently seeking admission into a new course or school, you must first withdraw from the previous admission.

Without proof of withdrawal from the former institution, you may not be considered for admission this year.

WHO SHOULD BE CONCERNED

Candidates admitted in past years but did not resume.

Candidates who resumed but later dropped out.

Candidates who changed course or school and are reapplying.

Candidates who think “I did not go there, so it does not matter.” It matters.

WHAT YOU SHOULD DO

Do not ignore this message.

Visit the previous institution and process an official withdrawal if you were admitted before.

Keep your withdrawal evidence safe. It may be required during admission processing.

This is not a rumor. It is live on the JAMB portal and already affecting registration today.

Please share this with other parents and candidates. Many people will only realize this problem when it is too late.

🚨 CLARIFICATION ON AGE REQUIREMENT FOR JAMB REGISTRATION & ADMISSION 2026 🚨

There has been a lot of confusion and unnecessary panic about age limits for JAMB 2026. Let’s set the facts straight—clearly and correctly.

1️⃣ Is there an age limit for JAMB registration?
➡️ NO. JAMB does not restrict candidates from registering based on age. If you meet the academic requirements, you can register for JAMB—whether you are under 16 or above.

2️⃣ Where does the “16 years” issue come from?
The 16-year minimum age rule is tied to university admission, not JAMB registration. The Federal Government recommends that candidates should be at least 16 years old by the time of admission, not at the time of writing JAMB.

3️⃣ Can candidates below 16 write JAMB 2026?
➡️ YES. Candidates below 16 can sit for the exam.
However, the process of registration and admission is a different one.

4️⃣ Will JAMB disqualify under-16 candidates?
➡️ NO. JAMB will not cancel results or stop candidates from choosing institutions because of age. If you're less than 16 years old and won't be 16 by September 30, you can still register for JAMB but in this case, you will be filling the JAMB form for EXCEPTIONAL CANDIDATE.

5️⃣ What does EXCEPTIONAL CANDIDATE mean?
➡️ It means you must score at least 80% across all your qualifying exams. This means that you would score 80% in your JAMB and 0'level exams.

*Important advice for parents and candidates*
✔️ Focus more on correct subject combinations and cut-off marks
✔️ If the candidate is less than 16 years, but he/she is exceptionally brilliant, admission is still achievable.
✔️ Don’t panic or spread unverified information
✔️ Age alone does not block JAMB registration

📌 Bottom line:
JAMB 2026 has no age limit for registration. The 16-year guideline applies mainly to admission decisions by institutions, not the exam itself.

*🔁 Share this post to stop the misinformation and help other candidates and parents make informed decisions.*
