Today marks the successful commissioning of a new addressable fire alarm system designed and installed by DNL Global at the North South Power Hydroelectric Power Plant powerhouse.
This project reflects our commitment to delivering reliable fire protection solutions for critical infrastructure where safety and early detection are essential.
With this modern addressable system in place, the facility now benefits from faster fire detection, precise location identification, and improved emergency response capability.
At DNL Global, we remain dedicated to protecting lives, assets, and operations through professional fire safety engineering and trusted installations.
During a fire, smoke is often more dangerous than the flames.
Hot, toxic smoke rises and fills the upper part of a room, while the air closer to the floor remains cooler and safer to breathe.
Standing upright exposes you to poisonous gases that can cause unconsciousness quickly, but staying low or crawling keeps you in cleaner air and increases your chances of escaping safely.

If your cooking catches fire, don’t use water.
Smother it with a fire blanket, or if you don’t have one, use a pot lid, chopping board, or towel if it’s safe to do so.
Stay low, turn off the stove, and slide it carefully over the pan.
