CLARIFICATION ON DRAFT EXAM TIMETABLE COMPLAINTS

Dear NOUNITES,

This is to clarify the notice on reporting complaints about the *2026_2 Draft Examination Timetable*.

Before you report any issue, please read this carefully 👇

📌 HOW TO CHECK FOR A VALID TIMETABLE CLASH

A "clash" will ONLY be accepted if *ALL* these 3 conditions are met:

1. VALID COURSE CLASH
The clash must be between *2 or more courses you registered for THIS semester*.
AND
Both courses must be scheduled for *the same date AND the same exam session*.
Example: CIT301 and MTH381 on 20th Oct by 9am

2. CARRYOVER COURSES DO NOT COUNT
A clash between a *carryover course* and a *current semester course* will *NOT* be considered.
Example: GST102 from last semester + CIT301 this semester = Not a valid clash

*3. HOW TO SUBMIT COMPLAINTS*
If you have a genuine clash:
1. Go to your *Faculty Desk Officer* at your study center
2. Come with proof: Your *course registration form* + *Draft timetable printout*
3. Give only correct information. Only courses in your *current semester registration* will be verified.

🎯 IMPORTANT ACTION FOR YOU
1. Cross-check properly before going to your Desk Officer.
Compare: `Your Current Course Registration` vs `Draft Exam Timetable`
2. Don’t report carryover clashes. They won’t be attended to.
3. Do it early. Don’t wait till exams start.

DEADLINE EXTENSION: GST302

The GST 302 Business Plan submission deadline has been postponed 30th September to 15th October 2026 at 11:59 PM.

For those who were unable to meet the previous deadline, this is an opportunity to complete and submit your business plan.

IMPORTANT TMA, GST302, and DES" UPDATE DON’T PANIC

Good day, Dear NOUNITES 💚

We understand many of you are worried about TMA, GST302, and DES303 deadlines. Please take note of the following updates:

📌 1. TMA DEADLINE EXTENSION EXPECTED
If your portal is showing 30th September 2026 as the TMA closing date, DO NOT PANIC.

Why?
1. Registration is still ongoing and will close next month. Management usually extends the TMA to match registration.
2. Some TMAs are still locked, and some course questions have not been uploaded yet. The school is working on it.

Just keep checking your portal.

📌 2. GST302 UPDATE
1. The deadline will likely be extended. During the last class on Saturday, Dr. Awolumate stated he would request an extension to 15th October 2026.
2. Some regions are not open yet for upload. If yours isn’t open, keep checking.

📌 3. DES303 UPDATE
Uploading for DES303 has started.
If you haven’t been able to upload, don’t panic. The portal is being updated in batches.
Based on current information, DES303 will NOT close this month. Keep checking your portal.

🎯 WHAT SHOULD YOU DO NOW?
1. Focus on your POP & E-Exam preparation that starts in October.
2. Keep checking your eLearn portal regularly for updates.
3. Avoid rumours. Only take information from official NOUN channels and trusted sources like NOUN NEWS AND UPDATES.

We will update you immediately when we get any confirmed information from the school.
