Alhamdulillah, the Adult Islamiyyah Night Class at our blessed Madrasah witnessed another beautiful moment tonight, as the second scholar from Egypt — Sheikh Mahmoud, from the prestigious Al-Azhar University in Cairo — officially began his teaching session with the adult students.

He started by introducing himself in clear and eloquent Arabic:

“اِسْمِي الشَّيْخُ مَحْمُود، وَيَشْرُفُنِي أَنْ أَكُونَ مُعَلِّمًا فِي هَذِهِ المَدْرَسَةِ الْمُبَارَكَةِ.”
“My name is Sheikh Mahmoud, and I am honored to be a teacher in this blessed Madrasah.”

After his introduction, he explained the subject he will be teaching, which is Language Studies,

عِلْمُ اللُّغَة (Ilmu al-Lugha)
Meaning in English: “The Science of Language.”

He told the students:

“سَأُدَرِّسُكُمْ عِلْمَ اللُّغَةِ، وَهُوَ عِلْمٌ مُهِمٌّ لِتَطْوِيرِ الفَهْمِ وَالتَّعَامُلِ وَالتَّوَاصُلِ.”
“I will be teaching you the Science of Language, an important subject for improving understanding, interaction, and communication.”

The subject عِلْمُ اللُّغَة (Language Studies) will help the adult learners in:
• فَهْمُ المَعَانِي – understanding meanings
• تَوْسِيعُ المُفْرَدَات – expanding vocabulary
• تَحْسِينُ النُطْق – improving pronunciation
• بِنَاءُ المَهَارَةِ اللُّغَوِيَّة – building language skills

His class, just like the first Egyptian scholar’s class, is meant only for adults and holds every night, providing a peaceful environment for learning and spiritual growth.

Under the leadership of our honorable founder,
Dr. Shehu Abdulkadir Jimoh (Serkin Qadiriyyah of Africa),
the program remains completely free — books, materials, uniforms, and Qur’ans all provided at no cost.

“العِلْمُ نُورٌ” – Knowledge is light
“اللَّهُمَّ نَفَعْنَا بِمَا عَلَّمْتَنَا وَزِدْنَا عِلْمًا”
“O Allah, benefit us with what You have taught us and increase us in knowledge.”

Alhamdulillah wa shukrulillah, another historic moment has taken place at our noble institution, KULIYAT ALHAJI MUHAMMAD JUMU’AT LITAHFIZIL QUR’AN WAD DIRASATIL ISLAMIYYAH, as the esteemed scholar from Cairo, Egypt — Sheikh Kamaleeden, from the prestigious Al-Azhar University — officially began his first class tonight.

After his arrival in Nigeria earlier, the scholar wasted no time in commencing his mission of knowledge and guidance. Tonight, during the first session of the Adult Islamiyyah Night Class, he began by introducing himself beautifully in Arabic, saying:

“اِسْمِي الشَّيْخُ كَمَالُ الدِّين، وَأَشْرُفُ أَنْ أَكُونَ مُعَلِّمًا فِي هَذِهِ المَدْرَسَةِ الْمُبَارَكَةِ.”
“My name is Sheikh Kamaleeden, and I am honored to be a teacher in this blessed Madrasah.”

The class proceeded with him outlining what he will be teaching the adult students — the noble subject known as ‘Ilmu Quran, a discipline focused on strengthening understanding, improving Qur’anic recitation, and deepening Islamic knowledge for adults seeking spiritual growth.

This Adult Islamiyyah Class is designed exclusively for adults and holds every night, giving everyone the opportunity to learn the religion in a calm, respectful, and spiritually uplifting environment.

As always, under the guidance of our visionary founder, Dr. Shehu Abdulkadir Jimoh (Serkin Qadiriyyah of Africa), the class remains completely free — tuition, books, Qur’ans, and all learning materials provided without charge.

May Allah bless Sheikh Kamaleeden of Al-Azhar University for joining us on this noble mission, and may He reward our founder abundantly for opening the doors of sacred knowledge to both the young and the old.

Alhamdulillah, yesterday was a remarkable and blessed day for our noble Madrasah, KULIYAT ALHAJI MUHAMMAD JUMU’AT LITAHFIZIL QUR’AN WAD DIRASATIL ISLAMIYYAH, as we received a delegation of respected Arabic and Qur’anic scholars from Cairo, Egypt.

Our honorable Founder and Grand Leader, Dr. Shehu Abdulkadir Jimoh (Serkin Qadiriyyah of Africa), personally went to the airport to welcome these distinguished scholars who have come with a noble mission to teach, impart knowledge, and uplift our children in the Qur’an, Arabic language, Tajwīd, and Islamic manners.

Accompanying him were several respected personalities, including:
• Sheikh Khalifa Amosa Babaniji Grand Khalifa Qadiriyah of Lagos State,
• Sheu Ahmadrufai Abubakr Salati, Waziri.

alongside other distinguished individuals who honored the moment by joining the reception at the airport.

The scholars from Cairo have come as Arabic and Qur’anic teachers, bringing with them deep expertise and spiritual insight to enrich our students’ learning. Their arrival marks another major achievement in our mission to provide international-standard Islamic education completely free of charge from uniforms to Qur’ans and all Islamic books.

As Allah (SWT) says:

“وَقُل رَّبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا”
“And say: My Lord, increase me in knowledge.” Surah Taha 20:114

And the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:

“خيركم من تعلم القرآن وعلمه”
“The best among you are those who learn the Qur’an and teach it.”

At the Dir’u Charity Foundation, the light of ‘Ilm’ (knowledge) shines through both our modern and Islamic schools. Today, our Madrasah (Islamic school), where the pupils were joyfully learning in Arabic the sacred language of the Qur’an. Their teachers passionately guided them through lessons, nurturing not only their minds but also their souls.

The atmosphere was filled with gratitude as one of the teachers expressed heartfelt thanks to the founder, Sheikh Dr. Abdulkadir Shehu Jimoh (Sarkin Qadieiyya Na Africa), for providing this priceless opportunity to the children. Alhamdulillah, just like our modern school, the Islamic school is completely free from the school uniforms to the Qur’an, Kutub al-‘Arabiyyah (Arabic books), and all learning materials.

Nothing gladdens the heart more than seeing children recite the words of Allah with confidence and joy. Their smiles are a reflection of the Prophet’s ﷺ saying:

“The best among you are those who learn the Qur’an and teach it.” (Sahih al-Bukhari)

Through this noble initiative, Sheikh Dr. Abdulkadir Shehu Jimoh continues to uphold the true spirit of khidmah (service) and ilm (knowledge), ensuring that every child regardless of background has access to both worldly and Islamic education.
