🚨 XENÕPHÕBIA: MTN NIGERIA CEO SPEAKS AS CALLS TO REVÕKE COMPANY'S LICENCE GROW

The Chief Executive Officer of MTN Nigeria, Karl Toriola, has responded to calls for the Federal Government to revõke the company's operating licence over recurring xenõphõbic attãcks on Nigerians in South Africa.

According to Toriola, MTN Nigeria should not be blãmed for the actions of individuals in another country. He stressed that MTN Nigeria is a Nigerian company with millions of local shareholders, thousands of Nigerian employees, and a long history of contributing to Nigeria's economy through taxes, investments, and job creation.

Xenõphõbic attãcks in South Africa have occurred repeatedly over the years and are driven by a mix of factors. Analysts point to high unemployment, poverty, inequality, pressure on public services, and competition for business opportunities as key reasons.

In some cases, foreign nationals—including Nigerians, Zimbabweans, Somalis, Ethiopians, and others—have been wrongly blamed for crime or for taking jobs and business opportunities, leading to viõlent attãcks.

However, experts and human rights groups emphasize that the actions of a few individuals should never be used to judge an entire nationality.

Millions of South Africans and Nigerians continue to live and work together peacefully, while both governments have repeatedly condemned xenõphõbic viõlence and called for stronger prōtection of foreign nationals.

Toriola also disclosed that MTN Nigeria is planning a new headquarters in the country, describing Nigeria as the company's home and reaffirming its commitment to investing in the nation's economy despite the ongoing contrõversy.

🕊️ YORUBA NOLLYWOOD MÕURNS AS VETERAN ACTOR ELEGBEJE ADO PASSES AWAY

The Yoruba movie industry has been thrõwn into mõurning following the d3ath of veteran actor Taiwo Adeshina, popularly known as Elegbeje Ado, after a brief îllness.

The sãd news was announced by fellow Nollywood actor Kunle Afod, while Seun Oloketuyi, founder of the Best of Nollywood Awards, confirmed that the respected actor passed away on Monday.

For over two decades, Elegbeje Ado entertained millions of fans with unforgettable roles as kings, chiefs, elders, and other traditional characters in Yoruba movies. He appeared in popular films including Ageku Abela, Oko Abiku, and Kadara Mi, earning the love and respect of movie lovers across Nigeria.

In 2024, the late actor revealed that he had answered God's call to ministry, stepped away from secular acting, and dedicated his life to Christian filmmaking. He later produced his first gospel movie, Egberun Odun (One Thousand Years), marking a new chapter in his life of faith and service.

His passing is another pãinful lõss for the Yoruba film industry, but his remarkable contributions and inspiring journey will continue to live on in the hearts of many.

A farmer sprãyed his maize farm with p3sticide to protect his crops. 🌽

A few hours later, a h3rdsman brought 11 cattle onto the farm to graze.

The cattle happily enjoyed the "free buffet"... and unfõrtunately di3d afterward. 😭🐄

Now the cattle owner is demanding comp3nsation and has drãgged the farmer to court. ⚖️😂

If the ticket enters, our economy will recover overnight.

🤣 HOW I WENT TO VISIT MY GIRLFRIEND AND ACCIDENTALLY JOINED FELLOWSHIP! 🥁😂

I went to see my babe in her female hostel, and unfortunately, both of us slept off. 😭

When I woke up, it was already past the hostel closing time for guys. My life flashed before my eyes. 💀

To escãpe, I wore a wig, wrapper, and transformed into "Sister Grace." 😂

Everything was going smoothly until the Fellowship Mama in the room wanted to pray for me. 😭

I survived that challenge, but another problem appeared...

I forgot that I SNORE! 🤣🤣

All night, I stayed awake to protect my secret identity.

The next day, just when I thought I had escaped successfully, the Fellowship Mama looked at me and said:

"Mr. Man, remove that wig and come down." 💀😂

She had already figured everything out!

Then she gave me two options:

👉 Attend fellowship or
👉 Get exposed.

My people, that's how a simple visit to my babe turned into a spiritual journey. 😭😂

Today, I'm not just attending fellowship...

I'm now the DRUMMER. 🥁🤣🤣

Moral lesson: Be careful when visiting your babe. You may go for love and return with a ministry. 😂
