How Tutoring Changed My Life—and How It Can Change Yours Too
I didn’t start tutoring because I had it all figured out.
I started because I wanted to make extra income doing something I love—teaching.
But along the way, I discovered that tutoring can be more than a side hustle. It can change lives—yours and your students’.
I’ve been able to work with students around the world, earn from my teaching skills, and build a brand that’s growing every day.
And guess what?
You can do it too.
There’s a huge demand for passionate tutors who want to make a difference and earn well.
I’m now training teachers to step into this same opportunity—with the support, guidance, and certification they need.
If you’ve been thinking, “How can I earn more? How can I grow?”
Maybe this is your answer.
💬 Send me a DM if you’re interested in becoming a certified tutor or starting your own tutoring journey.
Let’s grow together.

Why I Started Tutoring—and Why It Might Be the Help Your Child Need
I still remember the day I realized that so many children were struggling—not because they were not smart, but because they didn’t have the right support.
As a tutor and the lead tutor at Ivan Academy, I’ve worked with children who felt lost in Math and English classes. I’ve seen the frustration in their eyes when they just couldn’t keep up.
I started this journey because I wanted to make a difference—not just to help children pass exams, but to help them build confidence in themselves.
Every child deserves a chance to succeed, no matter where they live. That’s why we work with students from Nigeria, the UK, the US—everywhere.
If you’ve been wondering how to help your child catch up or get ahead, I’d love to chat with you.
💬 Send me a DM and let’s talk about what your child needs. I can help you assess their learning gaps and recommend the best next steps.

Enhancing Collaboration Beyond the Classroom.
Breaking the Barriers of Classroom Isolation
Teaching can sometimes feel like a solitary profession, with limited opportunities to connect and collaborate with colleagues. The demands of the job, coupled with time and logistical constraints, can make it difficult to share best practices or explore fresh ideas for lesson delivery. While conferences and workshops offer a platform for professional growth, attending them isn't always feasible due to cost and scheduling challenges.
Fortunately, technology provides a way to bridge this gap. By leveraging digital tools, educators can collaborate, exchange knowledge, and develop new skills to enhance their teaching strategies.
Exploring Google Tools for Collaboration
Consider the following Google tools and how they can foster greater teamwork and knowledge-sharing among teachers:
YouTube – A platform for creating and sharing instructional videos, tutorials, and recorded lessons.
Google Sites – An easy way to build a resource hub for teachers and students, containing lesson plans, teaching strategies, and useful materials.
Blogger – A space to document experiences, share insights, and discuss teaching methods with a wider audience.
YouTube Live – A tool for hosting live discussions, training sessions, or virtual professional development meetings.
Shared Folders in Google Drive – A collaborative space where educators can store and access lesson plans, worksheets, and other resources in real time.
Each of these tools provides an opportunity for teachers to connect, share ideas, and continuously develop their skills—all at their own pace and convenience.

My Experience with Google for Education Training
As part of my ongoing training with Google for Educators, I have been introduced to innovative ways to make my classroom more engaging and interactive. Technology has proven to be a valuable asset in lesson delivery, and I am eager to integrate these tools into my teaching approach.
Beyond improving my own methods, I have also gained insights into how I can support my fellow teachers in adopting technology to enhance their instructional practices.
Here are a few initiatives I intend to implement and why:
Utilizing Google Tools for Teacher Collaboration – I plan to explore how platforms like Google Sites and shared Drive folders can facilitate teamwork and resource-sharing among teachers.
Creating and Sharing Educational Content – Through YouTube and Blogger, I aim to share teaching strategies and lesson demonstrations, making learning accessible beyond the classroom.
Conducting Virtual Training Sessions – Using YouTube Live, I hope to organize online discussions where educators can exchange ideas and develop new teaching techniques.
By embracing these digital solutions, I believe teachers can break free from isolation and create a more connected and resourceful learning environment.
