The school is also renowned for producing notable leaders and public figures such as Femi Gbajabiamila, Chief of Staff to the President of Nigeria, and Babatunde Raji Fashola, former Governor of Lagos State. Immediate past 1st NFF VP and former LSFA Chairman Seyi Akinwunmi is also an alumnus of the iconic institution.
Speaking during the presentation, Dotun Coker stated that the donation aligns with a broader vision of developing students not only academically, but also physically, emotionally, and socially through the transformative power of football.
He further explained that the initiative originated from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and was distributed through the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to the 36 State Football Associations and the FCT for onward delivery to selected schools.
