Some boys need extra support.
Some communicate differently.
Some learn differently.
Some experience the world differently.

But every boy child deserves love, dignity, guidance, support, and the opportunity to thrive. 💙

Happy International Day of the Boy Child

Every worker goes to work, but an autism practitioner goes to support and guide a destiny into fulfilment.

We create pathways for possibilities where others may not see them.

We shine light in difficult moments and nurture the little sparks we find, even when it sometimes goes unnoticed.

Today, we celebrate and appreciate our esteemed autism practitioners at Haltism and More Therapy for the dedication, patience, and compassion you bring to work every day.

Your commitment empowers autistic individuals to build skills, confidence, and independence, and your impact extends far beyond each session into families and communities.

To all dedicated therapists out there, thank you for your great work.

Happy International Workers’ Day and Happy New Month! 💙

Real inclusion begins with how we choose to show up.

In commemoration of World Autism Awareness Day (WAD) 2026, The Alternative Bank, in collaboration with Private Sector Health Alliance of Nigeria (PSHAN) hosted a multi-layered intervention platform under the global theme, “How You Show Up.”

Moving beyond awareness, this long awaited initiative focused on advancing structural inclusion and delivering practical, measurable support for individuals on the autism spectrum in Nigeria.

The heart of this event was the Stakeholders’ Roundtable & Policy Dialogue, where our Program Director at Haltism and More Therapy Ltd was privileged to serve as a panelist, contributing to a meaningful conversation on inclusion, collaboration, and the future we are shaping for every individual on the autism spectrum.

The dialogue emphasized the urgency of multi-sector partnerships bringing together government, private sector, and civil society to move from awareness to action, strengthen service access, and drive sustainable support systems for autistic individuals and their families.

We appreciate platforms that create space for intentional dialogue, shared responsibility, and measurable impact.

As always, we remain committed to contributing to conversations and actions that expand possibilities and build a more inclusive future for every child

Knowing about autism isn’t enough.

it’s also important that we practice inclusion in our communities.
