BUILDING EFFECTIVE STUDY HABITS
Building effective study habits can significantly help change productivity and learning. Some of the strategies that may help strengthen study habits include the following.

1. Set Specific Goals
Break larger goals down into smaller, manageable tasks. For instance, instead of "study biology," have the goal of "learn the parts of a cell" or "understand photosynthesis". Set daily or weekly goals to keep the momentum going.

2. Set Aside a Designated Study Location
A quiet, constant, and clean study room eliminates distractions and connects the place to concentration. Provide all supplies, textbooks, and notes readily available so they are not disrupted.

3. Adopt a Study Timetable
Reserve hours dedicated to studying each day at about the same time so one becomes set into a habit. Plan out using planners or digital calendars to manage deadlines and prioritise tasks accordingly.

4. Active Learning
Engage with active learning methods such as summarizing notes in your own words, teaching concepts to someone else, or testing yourself on the key concepts. Use flashcards, quizzes, and practice problems for further reinforcement.

5. Taking Regular Breaks
The Pomodoro Technique is also a popular method: study for 25 minutes, break for 5. Continuous breaks prevent burnout and ensure better concentration over a long period during studies.
