Alimosho Summer School Brief:

Duration: Monday, July 24th, 2023, to Saturday, September 2nd, 2023
Timing: 9 am - 12 noon

Overview:
Alimosho Summer School is a dynamic educational program aimed at providing children in the Alimosho community with an enriching and immersive learning experience. With a limited duration of four weeks and eight contacts, the program will focus on practical skill development and culminate in a grand concert and exhibition on September 2nd, 2023.

Courses and Instructors:
The curriculum covers a wide range of courses instructed by highly skilled professionals in their respective fields. The following courses will be offered:
001. Photography
002. Graphics
003. Coding (Python)
004. Piano
005. Guitar
006. Singing
007. Dance
008. Acting
009. Talking drum
010. Art and craft
011. General class: Ethics and Morals
012. Robotic
013. Chess
014. Football (Ladies)

Exhibition and Concert:
The summer school will place a special emphasis on the exhibition aspect, allowing students to showcase their talents and projects from the various courses. The final day, September 2nd, 2023, will feature a grand concert and exhibition, where students will present their accomplishments to the community.

Song Adaptation and Rehearsals:
The chosen song for the concert will be transformed into a script, incorporating elements from different courses. Students will engage in dedicated rehearsals and training to ensure a spectacular performance during the concert.

Community Engagement:
The program recognizes the importance of community involvement. Documentation of social and community work, including visits to prisons, hospitals, and other relevant institutions, will be carried out to foster empathy and a sense of social responsibility among the participants.

Cultural Values and Habits:
In addition to the course content, the summer school aims to instill important values and habits in the children. Daily chanting of the seven cultural values will be encouraged. Furthermore, good sitting habits and punctuality will be emphasized, fostering discipline and personal growth.

Personnel:
To ensure a safe and efficient learning environment, the program requires the following personnel:
- Security: 2 personnel for maintaining a secure environment
- Registrars: 3 personnel for handling registration and documentation
