JESUS is called The HOPE. He is the HOPE that HOLDS. This hope is living and eternal , this hope has no record and can never have any record of failing or disappointing anybody.

This hope has an eternal track record of faithfully coming through for anyone that trust in Him.
The authenticity / validity of this hope is anchored on the personality of God ( that cannot fail or lie) and the finished work of Christ on the cross.

By making Himself a sacrificial offering unto God through His gruesome death and resurrection, Jesus received an irrevocable eternal license to SAVE anyone who runs to Him for refuge.

To SAVE, is not only to save from sin, but to save from anything that life throws at you as you journey through life

Beloved, I don't mean to make you feel good, to psyche you or to patronize you. I tell you the eternal Truth without controversy, you are never vulnerable, you are never helpless, if you are truly connected to Jesus the eternal Hope
You can Count on Him . The voice of your present challenge does not change this Truth.
This Hope is not influenced by circumstances.
This Hope is immutable ( unchanging)
That is why Habakkuk made this faith statement . Habakkuk 3:17-19👇

AMP:Though the fig tree does not blossom and there is no fruit on the vines, [though] the product of the olive fails and the fields yield no food, though the flock is cut off from the fold and there are no cattle in the stalls,

AMP:Yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will exult in the [victorious] God of my salvation

AMP:The Lord God is my Strength, my personal bravery, and my invincible army; He makes my feet like hinds’ feet and will make me to walk [not to stand still in terror, but to walk] and make [spiritual] progress upon my high places [of trouble, suffering, or responsibility

ASSURANCE OF FORGIVENESS

COLOSSIANS 2:13
When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your sinful nature, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins. (NIV)

We taught that Jesus is the only way to eternal life. There is no life outside Jesus Christ. He is life. Having Jesus is having eternal life. There is another important blessing of the man in Christ. This blessing is the forgiveness of sins. It is the justification of the man in Christ without works. However, due to ignorance and high expectation of some preachers to see their members live good conduct, they sometimes make us doubt our forgiveness in Christ. Forgiveness of sins is the blessings of the man in Christ. To be saved is to be freed from the power of sin. Our forgiveness is eternal, this means that when a man receives Christ, he is forever forgiven. However, some people believe that it is only the sins that you committed before receiving Christ that is forgiven but the sins you commit after salvation must be confessed and pray for forgiveness and if God becomes satisfied with your repentance from that act of sin, he shall forgive you but if he is not satisfied with your repentance or that particular sin is a very “big sin” or committed often, he will not forgive you.

This wrong understanding of forgiveness is as a result of improper bible teaching and trying to encourage good conduct by wrong interpretation of scripture. Yes, you are a Christian and you did something terrible, you have been told God has forgiven you but the issue is, you don't feel forgiven. Never think you are alone on this path; we have all been there before. You do not have to continue walking on the path where your feelings become your guide. The word of God must be your guide and you must believe what the Word says concerning your forgiveness despite how you still feel. God's word does not need one's way of feeling to make it true. Regardless of how you feel, God's word says He is no longer counting your sins against you. Forgiveness is not emotions or feelings. It is legal issue and Jesus met or the legal requirement for our forgiveness. You became a benefactor of the legality of forgiveness they day you received Christ.

All our sins, this includes our past, present and future sins has been legally paid for. The truth is, by being in Christ we have obtained eternal forgiveness, He paid all our debts by his death on the cross, nothing left to be paid. There is no condition attached to our forgiveness. There is no sin too big or frequently committed that Christ did not pay for. We have total forgiveness of sins in Christ. Just say thank you Father for my forgiveness in Christ. Renew your mind or repent from that sin and move on confidently with your Christian life. Don’t allow the devil to torment you with guilt and condemnation. Wash off that sinful experience from your mind. Declare who you are in Christ. See yourself living the righteous life and conduct in Christ. Focus on the victory over sin and not the condemnation or guilt of the enemy. You are washed and cleaned.

CONFESSION: Forgiveness has already been made mine by being in Christ therefore, I have no single debt of sin to pay either by animal sacrifice or by confessions.
