Early Years with Ms. Veeky
Engaging Toddlers with fun and educative activities to reduce screen time and enhance their creativity.
Developing Practical Life Skills
We are also concentrating on improving his hand-eye coordination.
This is his first try; ideally, by 2 years old, Asher should master transferring liquids from one container to another without spilling.
Kids aged 3-5 can participate in this activity too. Provide bottles with narrower openings and ask them to fill these.
Engage your kids in enjoyable learning experiences.

Introducing books to your toddler in a fun and engaging way can help foster a lifelong love for reading.
Pick board books or cloth books with bright pictures and simple text.
Interactive books with textures, flaps, or sound buttons can keep toddlers engaged.
Books with rhymes, repetition, and songs are great for capturing attention.

Kids only absorb about 7% of our words.
The other 93% of what kids are absorbing is our tone of voice (38%) and our body language (55%).
It’s not just about using the “right scripts”.
For true effectiveness, it needs to be the right combination.
It's not just what we say, it's also about how we say what we say.

How do I make sure my child is learning each day?”⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The answer is pretty simple 😊
In early childhood, we can hang a lot of learning hats on three things: play, reading, and conversations (hearing and/or participating).
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It’s easy to get caught up in what we see on social media and then worry our child didn’t get the same “learning” that another child we saw online did.
I can’t stop that from happening, but what I can do is remind you that learning looks very different - for starters, it doesn’t need to perfectly curated. It isn’t about worksheets, flash cards, computer games, or even the activities some lady keeps sharing.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It really boils down to play, reading, and conversation.
The pressure on parents or teachers to create the perfect learning environment for childhood is often greatly exaggerated.
Play, reading, conversation.
When you hit those moments wondering if you are doing enough for your child’s/ learner's learning, repeat to yourself “play, reading, conversation.”
