Lagos stood still last week for the Women in Mining (Lagos chapter) as they held their maiden edition of the Lagos Gold and Gem conference on the 4th and 5th of Nov at the Metropolitan club, V.I.

Our lead facilitator was honored to have been on a panel session with veteran jewelers in the industry discussing the challenges and future of jewelry making in Nigeria.

We are also glad to announce that she was awarded the (Exceptional Young Woman Award 2022) for having trained over 100 students.

It was lovely networking and rubbing minds with

We wish to congratulate all winners and members of the Women in Mining for a successful event and looking forward to next year’s event.

Reposted from Some of you know i am a fan of showing the two sides of a coin: the story behind the glory, the test before the testimony. A good number of you celebrated me when I shared a video of the first ever handcrafted luxury crown custom-made by a West African jeweller (Me! 😁), but I thought to create this video chronicling behind-the-scenes action myself and my team went through in the course of crafting the crown. .

Many times some of us get so enamoured of the result, we forget there was a process and so we get hard on ourselves unneccessarily for challenges that are no fault of ours. Challenges that are actually just prerequisites for success. I hope this video inspires somebody going through a hard time to hold on, knowing that the glory of the final outcome/finished product is far greater than the rigors of the process. Fam, endure the process- it will end well ❤. This video is a witness.
