Happy Children’s Day 💙🧸
Today is meant to be filled with laughter, love, colors, and celebration for every child. But as we celebrate, our hearts are also heavy for the children in Nigeria who are facing pain, fear, violence, and insecurity.
We remember the innocent children who have been kidnapped, abused, traumatized, or silenced by the harsh realities around us. We mourn with families hurting silently and pray for protection, healing, justice, and peace across our nation.
No child deserves fear.
No child deserves violence.
No child deserves to have their innocence stolen.
As we post beautiful pictures and celebrate this special day, may we also raise our voices for the safety, dignity, education, and future of every Nigerian child. Let us build a country where children can truly dream, play, learn, and grow without fear.
To every child — you matter, especially those in St. Chrysostom school, you are loved, and your future is worth fighting for. ❤️
Happy Children’s Day to all the beautiful children around the world.

Christmas English: Common Mistakes and Their Corrections
Fireworks expressions:
1. Don't throw that knock out here! ❌
Don't LET OFF the banger/firecracker here. ✅
👉 We let off or light fireworks; we don’t 'throw a knock'.
2. He on the banger. ❌
He lit/let off the banger. ✅
👉 “On” is incorrect here. Fireworks are lit or let off.
3. The banger burst my ear. ❌
The loud bang hurt my ears. ✅
👉 “Burst my ear” is unnatural in standard English.
4. The banger is sounding. ❌
✅ The banger is going off.
👉“Going off” is the natural expression for fireworks exploding.
5. That banger nearly killed me. ❌
That banger almost gave me a heart attack.✅
👉Fireworks don’t literally kill by sound; this avoids exaggeration and improves clarity.
🟢🙏Christmas carol lyrics:
6. A long time ago in Bethlehem, so the Holy Bible said, Mary's boy child, Jesus Christ, was born on Christmas Day.
"Hark now hear the angels sing." ✅
Not, "I can hear the angels sing". ❌ 😂
Between you and me, can you hear the angels sing? 😂😂
❌ I can hear the angels sing.
“Hark” means listen attentively and is part of the original lyric.
7. O come all ye faithful, joyful and triumph. ❌
O come all ye faithful, joyful and triumphant.✅
👉 “Triumph” is a noun; the lyric requires the adjective triumphant.
