The Global Father Dilemma in the 21st Century DEBATE.

The public audience attending will be the focus with speakers of the first summit present to answer questions and elaborate if needed
Following on from points of the first speaker’s presentations some of the questions for debate are:
1) Why should a Father bear all the roles of responsibility and leadership of the family? Is this Nature or Nurture?
2) Why are some women attracted to Multiple Fathers?
3) Is it ethical to run a ‘Family’ as a ‘Business’?
4) Has slavery, colonization, and neo-colonization damaged and destroyed the family cultural customs and methods in most of Africa and the Caribbean? If so how can this be revived and readjusted?
5) How can an absent Father be a Father while absent?
6) Can a Single Father be Father and Mother effectively?
7) What are the effects of abusive Fathers on their child/children’s future?
8) Why do most African Mothers in the Diasporas seek to divorce and destroy the Father of their children and prefer being Single Mothers?
9) Should Polygamy be acceptable in Africa and the Caribbean or banned and outlawed?

Dear All. It has been a very active 2 years for the institute HCHIN as we embarked on a research study of Nigeria's History. We met many individuals, discovered many and new views.
After a lot of discussions and study groups, some questions were frequently asked. Some of them were :
Why is Nigeria's History so fragmented? Why is it that the average and 'educated' Nigerian cannot place the history of their country and the history of their own family in the last 100 years? Why is it that the common reaction to Nigeria's past is to largely condemn the past to a land of uncivilized people, filled with evil and unchristian? Why are there no national museums showing the history and the heroes of all Nigerians from all states in the last 100 years. There are only few private collectors and collections. Has this got to do with the residues of colonisation and the confusion of post-colonisation? Why does the History of a Nation matter? These are some of the questions we all seek to discuss and deliberate on over the next few months. Please join us. So we learn and engage collectively. Stay safe and Stay home. Thank you.

Dear Colleagues. Our New Project is the History of Museums in former West African Colonies.Are they functional? Who visits these museums? Tourist, Nationals, Local Community? We have started our research and will share with all when concluded.

Recently i was at a conference where the idea of an African Utopia was discussed. It was very interesting to hear many views that were not just political. However what was evident was the same old mistake of viewing Africa as one country. Art and Literature produced in West African Countries are quite distinct from those produced in East African Countries for example.. Also almost all ideas that were displayed and discussed veered towards doing away with anything to do with any tradition that came out of any African country as a way towards globalization, civilization and utopia. Which was very devastating. If we speak of the Egyptian Civilization in History why can't we speak of the African Civilization in History in the same realm?
