AKADA 2025

Our participantion in Akada Children's Book Festival 2025 was significant and impactful. Our teachers and Students won prizes in sessions and competitions they participated . We had fun, interacted with Nigerian authors and explored networking opportunities.

Nigerian boy, Agbo Adoga, becomes the first Nigerian to achieve a perfect score on the SAT.

With Alhaja Mumuni Risqat , our great benefactor who really helped to raise our schools in teething years. She got retired from Lagos State service after 35 years of service.

Our head girl (Primary) Rayhanah Martins and Summayyah Lawal (S.S.1 budding guru) with the Head of Schools presented our gifts to our amiable mother.

One recurring decimal from Alhaja's experience is that : those who are at the top must learn to respect and treat others well. When tomorrow comes, incidents of yesterday shall shape today's narratives. The torrents of encomium that poured on the retirement of Alhaja Mumuni is a life lesson that when we do good, it comes to get on our way.

In commemoration of the annual World Teachers' Day and in line with the Lagos State Ministry of Education calendar, tomorrow shall be observed as work free day for teachers and thus no school.

We expect our jewels back in school on Tuesday 7th October, 2025 in sha Allah.

Welcome to a new chapter of brilliance, discovery, and progress!
We step into the 2025/26 academic year with hearts full of gratitude and a renewed sense of purpose.

Last session, by the Mercy of Allah and your support, Minbar-Minds Children’s School emerged as the Best Muslim School in national examinations and clinched laurels in external academic competitions.

At the end of the session, we promised not to rest on our oars and true to our word, we are soaring higher.

What’s New? What’s Next?

This holiday wasn't a break, it was a mission. A mission to prepare the grounds for something far greater. And today, we proudly share the fruits of that mission.

Modernised Environment:

A massive infrastructural upgrade has transformed our classrooms and school environment into more vibrant, child-friendly, and tech-enabled spaces.

New Teachers, New Possibilities:

We have welcomed four dedicated Arabic & Qur’an teachers to enrich our Islamic foundation. To strengthen core learning areas, Upper Primary now enjoys stand-alone subject specialists in Mathematics and Basic Science.

Clean Water, Healthy Pupils:

No more water bottles! Soon, we shall installed school-wide water treatment facilities ensure safe, fresh drinking water for every child, every day.

Beyond Computers, Welcome to the Future!

We have replaced “Computer Studies” with Digital Technology & Innovation a forward-thinking curriculum that prepares our pupils for the 5th Industrial Revolution. All our classrooms are now equipped with multi-media teaching facilities for an immersive, interactive learning experience.

Physical Growth, Mental Agility:

Sports and recreation matter too. Our upgraded sports facilities now include age-appropriate table tennis for both fun and fitness because every well-rounded mind needs a well-moved body.

Sharper Teaching Tools:

We have conducted refresher courses in modern pedagogy for our teachers, equipping them to deliver lessons that inspire, challenge, and transform. You shall witness better academic inputs as our quality assurance mechanisms have been positioned to get more teachers.

Busy December:

In response to your suggestions, we are planning to organise an impactful Carrier Exploration Week. This shall hold in last week of the term. We plan to explore possibilities in various professions and orientate our jewels to make right choices.
