You do not have to have a lot to make a difference, a kind heart and a willing spirit is enough to start.

The essence of education in our community cannot be overemphasised, therefore its quality should not be compromised.

Library is an expedient facility that every school should have. Apart from being the storehouse of knowledge, when it is properly utilised, it influences the students' academic performance, helps to shape new ideas, perspectives and lives are transformed.

When I embarked on "The Make a Difference" project, it was aimed at tackling illiteracy within the four walls of the school and beyond. I discovered that education cannot be effective if the children's basic needs are not met and important facility such as the library is absent.

The Make a Different Project renovated a public school's library and stocked it with books, provided 50 undeserved children with school uniforms and stationery.

I understand that there are still several children/ schools in need of this experience and this birthed Book Drive Nigeria.

At Book Drive Nigeria, we are a community of young people passionate about quality education and literacy. We are driven by goals 1,4 and 17 of the SDGs.

Good Health and Well-Being is at the core of our existence. We cannot chase our dreams and change the world if we're bedridden or battling with failing health.

SDGs Goal 3 ensures healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages. It maintains that by 2030,There should be:

*Global Reduced Maternal Mortality.

*End to preventable deaths of newborns and children under 5 years of age.

*Total end to epidemics of AIDS, tuberculosis, malaria and neglected tropical diseases, including hepatitis, water-borne diseases and other communicable diseases.

*Reduction in mortality from non-communicable diseases and promotion mental health well-being

*Prevention and treatment of substance abuse, including narcotic drug abuse and harmful use of alcohol.

*Reduce road injuries and deaths.

*Universal access to sexual and reproductive care, family planning and education.

*Universal health coverage, including financial risk protection, access to quality essential health-care services and access to safe, effective, quality and affordable essential medicines and vaccines for all.

*Substantial reduction in the number of deaths and illnesses from hazardous chemicals and air, water and soil pollution and contamination.

Get Involved!!!

*Find a goal 3 focused charity and volunteer.

*Vaccinate yourself.

*Donate your blood. Safe blood saves lives!

*Exercise Regularly.

*Take care of your mental health. Meditate, talk to friends and family, and seek professional help.

*Stay informed and Share this with your family and friends.
