His wife Kemi screamed that she was in Labour. All our concentration went to her.

I had everything under control. Samuel said.

It didn't seem like you had it under control. She replied.

Samuel!! my father called. Come here with your wife. Immediately they both came to the living room where my father was sitting.

I also came to the living room and sat on one cushion. Did I call you? my father asked me. Do you also want to get a lady pregnant? My father asked me angrily. No sir. I replied and stood up to leave.

Kemi was holding his hands strong. My mother looked at Samuel and looked at my father.

I was left sp*echless. Just then we saw my father's car coming back to our direction.

I opened the back door of the car and we entered.

There was silent in the car.

I just p*e on my self. I think my water just broke. Kemi said. We all turned our concentration to Kemi.

The baby is coming out!!! Kemi screamed.

She held Samuel hand and b!te him. Mommy m!!!!!!! Samuel screamed as his wife b!te him.

I was still having argument with my 16year married brother, when our mother read the message that just entered her phone.

Samuel we are going to see your in-law tomorrow. My mother told my younger brother.

There was a bit of silence in the room as we weren't expecting it.

Later that evening, my father came back home with his serious face. James make sure you wash the car very early in the morning. My father said.

I frowned my face. Why are you frowning your face? My father asked me. Why will it always be me? I'm the elder brother here, but it seems like am no longer. Where is my respect dad? Ever since Samuel came back with the pregnant lady I have been the one running all the errands. Its not fair na. I said still frowning my face.

Really? I didn't realized, but he is a married man now, there are certain things I can't tell him to do. he said. If that's the case I'm also getting married. I'm getting a lady pregnant. I said.

Okay. My father replied. I will wash my car by myself. he said.

The following day early in the morning, I woke up and washed the car and we prepared and drove to our in-laws house.

After hours of discussion between the two parties. The introduction was finally over.

As we went close to where we parked our car. Samuel you will have to move out of my house. I have rented a house for you and your wife, and I bought few food stuffs for you guys. You will move into your new home and start your life properly. My father told Samuel.

I could see fire burning in my fathers eye, he was controlling it gently.

They didn't care to know him or something? my father asked. We are too plenty in our family, my father don't know all of us. She replied.

Hmmm Interesting. My father replied. So Samuel how did you meet her, you are supposed to be in boarding school right? My father said.

I I I. Samuel stammered. I I I what? Are you now suddenly a stammerer? My father thundered. Baby let's continue tomorrow. You know they just arrived the family house this evening. They need rest. My mother told my father.

Okay. Use your room, James sleep in the living room. Allow the married man(Samuel) to use the bedroom. my father said as he left with my mother to their bedroom.

It was a moment of disbelief for me. I'm supposed to be the senior son, the elder brother.

That night I slept in the living room.

The following day, Kemi and my mother went to the market to buy something. My family was already treating her as a daughter in law. We had our breakfast before they left.

My father entered the kitchen and found out that the plates we used in having our breakfast haven't been washed.

James!! I heard my name. Why haven't you washed the plate? My father asked me immediately I arrived.

Samuel is here. I replied. You expect a married man to wash your plate? There was silence between us.

Do you have a wife? My father asked me? I nodded to No. Then go and wash the plates. At least the wife just arrived, just try to give him some respect. My father said.

I went into the kitchen and started washing the plate when my younger brother came into the kitchen.

I want to use this cup you just washed to take garri.

I gave him a bombastic side eye.

My mother served him dinner with his wife. We were waiting for our father to come back.

Sharp shooter I hailed my lil bro as he was watching movie in the living room alone. His wife was in the kitchen washing plate.

What? I asked him. Please be sleeping in the living room for now. he said. What happened to our own room? I asked, because we share same room.
