He has finally addressed the backlash from online fans who accused him of embarrassing her.

Sadio Mané said:
“I am a Muslim, and personally, I have no issue with hugging women. However, the fan in question was not appropriately dressed, and for that reason, I could not hug her. I apologize if my actions offended her, and I ask for forgiveness. I believe love should always lead.”
