This is to inform all those who registered for the 2017 Jamb Direct Entry Application and chose UNN, that the details of registration and examination has been announced.

*Registration:* Thursday, 19th October to Monday, 23rd October, 2017.

*Examination:* Thursday, 26th October, 2017.

*Venue:* Nnamdi Azikiwe Library, Nsukka Campus.

*To Register:*

1. Visit the school portal via www.unnportal.unn.edu.ng

2. Click on Prospective Students..

3. From the drop down menu, select under the area marked 2017/2018 POST UTME.

4. On the page that opens, enter your Jamb Reg No.

5. On the next page after authentication, click on Generate Invoice.

6. Print out the invoice and proceed to the bank to make payment of * #2,000*.

7. After payment, return to the portal and repeat steps 1-5.

8. Complete your registration as required.

👉🏿 *N/B:* JUPEB and Visually impaired Candidates are required to register for the screening but they are not *invited to participate in the screening exercise.*

*ESUT POSTPONE POST UME SCREENING DATES*

This is to inform all candidates seeking admission into Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) that the screening exercise has been postponed.
The screening which was supposed to hold on 25th to 29th September 2017 has been postponed.
Meanwhile, the registration for the screening continues till further notice. Candidates who scored 180 and above and chose ESUT as their first choice can apply. Also candidates who did not choose the school but scored up to the cut-off mark can also apply.
Candidates are to check the school's website and this website regularly for updates on the new screening schedule.

ASUU SUSPENDS NATIONAL STRIKE

The Academic staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has announced the suspension of its five weeks national strike following series of meetings with the federal government.

According to the president of ASUU, Biodun ogunyemi the Union will embark on another strike if the federal government relents in its implementation of the agreement reached between now to October 2017.

The Union called on all its branches to go back to work after its meeting with its members tomorrow.

The University of Nigeria, Nsukka, has postponed its 2017 post-UTME screening exam earlier scheduled to start on Monday Sept. 11.

Its Registrar, Mr Chris Igbokwe announced this in a statement on Saturday in Nsukka.

The registrar said a new date would be made known to the general public.

“This is to inform the general public that 2017 post-UTME screening exam earlier scheduled to start on Monday Sept. 11 and end Saturday Sept. 16 has been postponed.

“An updated timetable for the rescheduled Post-UTME screening tests will be published later.

“Please visit UNN Website regularly for update,” he said.

Igbokwe said registration for the post-UTME exam was ongoing.

He urged candidates who made UNN their first choice and scored 200 and above that had been experiencing difficulties in generating invoice in their online registration to continue to try.

“For all enquiries, send an email to: [email protected],” he said.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) gathered that the postponement of the UNN 2017 screening exam might not be unconnected with the ongoing Academic staff Union of universities (ASUU)’s strike.

The proposed nationwide strike by non-academic staff of Nigeria universities (NASU) that would kick-off on Sept. 11also contributed to the development.(NAN)
