Edustack is a Web and Mobile Based Multi School Management Platform that brings into one place, schools (Nursery, Primary and Secondary), parents, etc
manage their school efficiently. Although the development had started in 2013, the founder did not see the need to rush into the market, more study and interactions with schools has been done to ensure that the applications fits into the needs of many schools. CLOUDSKUL FEATURES
Cloudskul is a multi-level school management system, with cloudskul, you can manage an nursery primary and secondary school even a university. The following features are embedded into cloudskul.
1. Admission/Registration/Enrollment Module: the admission or registration module allow schools to register a new student or upload a fle containing all their admitted students by their respective classes. The admitted or registerd students are stored against the schools for which they were registered to.
2. Attendance Management: cloudskul allows teachers to log in students attendance on a realtime basis, the updates get to parents who own a mobile phone and run our mobile version. The attendance can be taken and then uploaded later, we are continually thinking of a faster way to perform the operation of marking attendance in schools. Teachers attandance has also been covered to make parents monitor and build confidense in the school.
3. Notifications: assuming a class will stay extra hours, the teachers can put up a quick notice an hour to regular closing hours and notify the parents that class will last above the usual time, the notification is again broadcasted via sms and push notifications. Another importance of notifications is that schools can now share their timetable and events online and can carry parents along setting notifications to trigger when the time for events approaches. Notifications like closing dates, opening dates, PTA meetings, School fees reduction or increment etc can all be set on auto-mode.
4. Class Management: we consider the standard system, a class example PRIMARY 1 has arms or sections, the sections are named just as the school want them to be named, after creating a class, you create the various sections in that class and allocate capacity to that class.
5. Hostel Management: If a school is a boarding school, she can manage the setting up and allocation of rooms from the software. Again we have ensured that you can name your halls as you wish and assign them the way you desire.
6. Library Management: the school can own a mini library systems for adding books, schools can also use this to sell their regular books to parents who can process payment for the various books needed by their children.
7. Subjects Management: schools can add any number of subjects taken by a certain class or offered in the school.
8. Exam/Marks Management with Promotion Criteria: the school can setup a promotion criteria and once the scores are uploaded, the system computes and gives the students positions and promotion status.
9. Optional Transport Module: the transport module allow schools to manage their buses if they have any, you key in the bus route and set the price if any. Parents can see the route and prepare their kids. The schools can add multiple routes as they come up.
10. Payment Processing: this is Cloudskul best feature, the school can add different payments and even attach them to a class or the entire school. For example, you need to collect fees for primary one and two, all you do is add the fee type, and you can even apply the fee to the entire primary one or to some certain students alone. The parents can pay the fee by searching Cloudskul website for the name of their child or children, or by logging into the account provided them by their respective schools. Payment can be made via Master, Visa, Verve and other cards available on the platform. Aside fees, books, text books, uniform and accommodation fees can also be processed as well. On the same platform, the school gets all the report for payments and parents even get a receipt immediately with the school customised receipt and powered by Cloudskul and her partners.
11. Grading System Management: Cloudskul boast of the best grading system architecture, allowing each school to set their grading system, School A may grade 70 as an A while school B may grade 60 as an A, there is no limitation, you set your own rules while Cloudskul does the remaining job.
12. Time Table/Routine Management: Admins can upload each class time table which can be managed by the various class teachers. Every class and section or arm can have their own timetable and parents can also track the routine of their children.
13. Internal Messaging/SMS: We have an internal mailing system in place, which allows schools to send private messages to parents and also allows parents to communicate with the schools and class teachers. All the messages enter as notification once you have the mobile version of our application, a mail is also sent to the parents email if set.
14. Multi-Level User-Management : (Super Admin, School Admin, Teacher, Student, School Accountant, Liberian and Parents), Cloudskul architecture supports all stakeholders, we are continually ready to add more users once we see a school with a more complex system, for now, we ensured that users exist for the basic groups. If a school has a need for an extra user role, we will be happy to build in such a role.
15. Import/Export: Cloudskul allow admins to upload bulk/batch files, example admission can be arranged in excel and imported at once instead of adding one after the other. Batch/Bulk uploads for results, admissions etc are all enabled. Cloudskul export allows users to export out all their data in excel and pdf only.
16. Reports: Cloudskul has an advance reporting system, allowing admins and users to search through data and export into excel and pdf. Schools can generate a daily, weekly and monthly report of all payments, on their dashboards they have access to charts that gives them an overview of their performances based on payments, number of students, teachers and staff.
17. Student Transfer: if a student is transferring from one Cloudskul to another, all their information move with them including performances from the previous schools, only that the data is formatted to be accepted by the new school’s settings.
18. Responsive Design/Mobile Versions: we have been able to design Cloudskul with you in mind, currently the mobile version is still under development and will be released before the end of November.
