On the Occasion of the STC College Class of 2026 Valedictory Service and Graduation Ceremony

Distinguished guests, esteemed parents, members of the Board and Management, dedicated staff, graduating students, ladies and gentlemen, I warmly welcome you all to this memorable occasion.

Today marks another significant milestone in the history of STC College as we celebrate the graduation of the Class of 2026. It is a day of joy, gratitude, and thanksgiving as we celebrate the hard work, resilience, and achievements of our graduating students.

To our dear parents and guardians, thank you for your steadfast support, sacrifices, and confidence in STC College. I also appreciate our management, teaching, and non-teaching staff for your dedication, professionalism, and commitment to nurturing future leaders.

Over the years, God has continued to honour our commitment to academic excellence. In 2024, STC College produced the Overall Winner of the prestigious Oluwole Awokoya Chemistry Competition in Lagos State. In 2025, one of our students scored 365 in the UTME, ranking among the highest-performing candidates in Nigeria when the national highest score was 375. Again, in 2026, our student, Adekunle Gabriel, emerged as the Overall Winner of the Oluwole Awokoya Chemistry Competition in Lagos State. Beyond academics, our students have also excelled in debate, cultural competitions, sports, and other co-curricular activities, earning several recognitions, including honours at the CBAC Awards. These achievements reflect the culture of excellence that defines STC College.

To our graduating students, I congratulate you on this remarkable achievement. As you move into the next phase of your lives, remember that true success is built on discipline, integrity, hard work, humility, and the fear of God. STC College Produces Overall Winner of 2026 Oluwole Awokoya Chemistry Competition

STC College has once again demonstrated its tradition of academic excellence with another outstanding achievement, building on its remarkable successes of previous years.

Master Gabriel Adekunle, an SSS II student of the institution, emerged as the Overall Winner at the grand finale of the 2026 Oluwole Awokoya Chemistry Competition. The competition was organized by the Lagos State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education in collaboration with the Chemical Society of Nigeria.

The highly competitive contest attracted participants from 318 secondary schools across Lagos State, making Gabriel's victory a remarkable feat and a testament to his hard work, dedication, and academic brilliance.
