STC College Surulere Lagos Wins Prestigious Chemistry Competition

In a remarkable display of academic excellence, School Time Communication (STC) College in Surulere, Lagos, has emerged victorious in the highly coveted Oluwole Awokoya Chemistry Competition. The competition, organized in collaboration with the Chemical Society of Nigeria and the Lagos State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, drew participation from 249 schools across the state.

Abdul-Basit Olatunde, a student of STC College, clinched the top spot in the grand finale held on Saturday, June 29, 2024. The event was closely contested, with four schools vying for the top position. However, Olatunde's outstanding performance secured STC College's victory, making them the proud winners of the competition.

The school's proprietor, Dr. Abraham Ayobami Thomas, congratulated Abdul-Basit Olatunde, chemistry teachers Mr. John and Mrs. Alabi, and the entire STC College community on this remarkable achievement. "This achievement is a testament to the dedication and hard work of the students, teachers, and staff at STC College".

INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE IN QUICKLEARNING MATHEMATICS CONTEST- 2021 EDITION

JustMedia the creator and producer of award winning Cowbellpedia Mathematics TV Quiz Show presents Quicklearning Mathematics Contest, a national mathematics Contest on TV designed to improve the knowledge, critical thinking skills and problem-solving faculties of children from their early years.

Registration for the contest is open to students currently in JSS 3 (Year 9/JSS3). Participating schools are expected to register their best 5-20 mathematics students for the contest.
