Being a prefect cultivates:
1. ​Conflict Resolution: Learning how to mediate a dispute between peers is a skill that translates directly to the professional world.

2. Public Speaking: Addressing an entire school during an assembly builds a level of confidence that few other roles can provide.

3. Accountability: Balancing high-level responsibilities with academic demands teaches time management at an elite level etc.
