As an head teacher in a Montessori school where observation is one of our key words, One thing i have realised is that most parents- even when they know their child has a (mental) challenge or problem-will deny it right in front of you.

The problem may even be obvious, but they will argue and try to term it something else.

Parent need to feel free to talk to their child's teacher(s) or other caregivers, in case of any changes in their child's behaviour.

This will enable both parties to find a way to help the child out.
