HOLINESS

THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH. Romans 1 :17b

In the letter to the Galatians at chapter 5 verses 3 & 4, Paul's point is quite clear. If the Galatians accept circumcision, it must be because they consider that circumcision is necessary to salvation. This would mean that Christ's Death was not enough, and they are not trusting Christ to save them. Rather, they are hoping to save themselves by what they do. Thus they have in fact left the region where Grace is operative;
' you have fallen out of grace.' ( this is not the same as colloquial English, ' you have fallen from grace ') No man can be justified, that is declared righteous and given a right standing with God) in two ways at once; HE CANNOT BE JUSTIFIED BY FAITH IN CHRIST AND BY HIS OWN EFFORTS. It is ' All Or Nothing' as far as Faith and Grace are concerned.

If you must do something of your own to be saved then you shall surely be lost. But if you shall trust in the Lord Jesus Christ alone for your salvation, His Precious Blood shall wash away all your sins Past, Present and Future forever.

The Elect of Grace

UNION WITH CHRIST..... continues..

Our union with Christ is God's way of ensuring 100% success of His project of securing a people fully conformed to the image of His Son Jesus Christ as citizens of His everlasting Kingdom. All things were made by Him, through Him and for Him and without Him was not anything made that was made. In Him all things hold together. And in Him ( in Union With Him ) we are Complete. Jehovah Jireh has supplied Himself with all that He requires of man in and through His Son Jesus Christ. And that is so because we have NOTHING TO CONTRIBUTE TO OUR REDEMPTION BECAUSE THE FLESH PROFITS NOTHING.
All that God will ever demand from sinful man is His Son, JESUS CHRIST, who of God is Made into us WISDOM, RIGHTEOUSNESS, SANCTIFICATION AND REDEMPTION. God is not interested in anything man has to offer except to present his body as a living sacrifice for the display of Jesus Christ in all His beauty and glory. IN CHRIST WE ARE ALREADY BLESSED WITH ALL SPIRITUAL BLESSINGS IN THE HEAVENLY PLACES.

BECAUSE CHRIST WAS GOD AND MAN IN ONE PERSON, HE WAS ABLE TO SUFFER AND TO BEAR
WHATEVER PUNISHMENT WAS DUE TO US.

There was room in His breast to receive the points of
all the swords that were sharpened by the law against us. And there was strength enough in Christ's shoulders to bear the burden of that curse that was due to us. It was because of this that He was willing to undertake the work of our redemption. ( He. 10:7,8). IF CHRIST HAD NOT BEEN MAN, HE COULD NOT HAVE SUFFERED FOR MEN, AND IF HE HAD NOT BEEN GOD, HIS SUFFERING WOULD NOT HAVE SATISFIED DIVINE JUSTICE.
If the Great and Righteous God had gathered together all the sins that had been committed by His chosen people from the foundation of the world, and searched the hearts of all that were to come to the end of the world, and then taken them all and laid them on a mere holy, innocent creature, they would have overwhelmed him and buried him forever from the presence of God's love.

BUT BECAUSE CHRIST IS BOTH GOD AND MAN IN ONE PERSON, HE HAS BECOME AN ENDLESS, BOTTOMLESS RESERVOIR AND SOURCE OF GRACE TO ALL THOSE WHO BELIEVE.
OUR SALVATION IS THEREFORE SURE AND SECURED IN CHRIST THROUGHOUT THE ENDLESS AGES OF GLORY. YOUR CONTRIBUTION YOUR SALVATION IS UNWANTED. SAVED BY GRACE ALONE.
OH! WHAT A GREAT SALVATION INDEED!

It was and ever will be the revelation of Christ alone which liberates the believer, leading him out, freeing him all the time. In that way Christ is our Deliverer and Emancipator. It is just the Lord Jesus that we need to know. Everything small will go as we see Him. Everything of earth and time will go as we see Him, and in the background of our lives there will be something adequate to keep us through difficult and hard times. We shall see the greatness of Christ and the corresponding greatness of our salvation "...according to His eternal purpose."
