A sweet poem explaining what the Qur'an entails.
Enjoy our last class @ before Eidul Ad-hā
Eid Mubārak, Taqabbalallāhu Minna Wa Minkum.
Written and translated (2018)
نشيد بعنوان: "قرآنك ربي"
A poem titled: "Your Qur'ān, Oh my Lord"
●●●
قُرْآنُكُ رَبِّـــــي هَدْيُـنَا
Your Qur'ān, My Lord, is our (true) guidance
قُرْآنُكَ حَــتْـــمَا فَوْزُنَا
Your Qur'ān, certainly is our success (in both life)
قُرْآنُكَ دَوْمًــــا شَرْعُنَا
Your Qur'ān is always our (source) of religious law
قُـرْآنُكَ هَــــــــذَا إرْثُنَا
Your Qur'ān, (verily) is our true legacy

قَدْ جَاءَ إِلَيْنَا مُصْطَفَى
The Chosen one (Prophet Muhammad) has come to us
بِكِـــتَابٍ حَـــقَّا بِالوَفَى
Truly, with a (glorious) book, to fulfil (his Prophetic duties)
أَنْـبَـــاءٌ فِيْهِ لِمَنْ جَـفَى
The (divine) information therein are enough for the deluded
أَخْــــبَارٌ فِيْهِ لَقَدْ كَـفَى
The narrative accounts therein suffice (all creatures)

قُــــرْآنُ كِـــتَابٌ شَامِلٌ
Qur’an, indeed is a complete (and well detailed divine) book
وَعَلَيْهِ يُخَـاطَبُ سَـائِلٌ
that which every questioner is (heartily) preached to
وَبِهَذَا يَـعْــقِـــلُ عَــاقِلٌ
and through this (preaching) the wise understands more
هُـــوَ أَقْوَى فِيْهِ مَسَائِلٌ
It is a great book, that deals with all matters

هُوَ قَـــوْلُ اللّٰهِ لِخَلْقِـــهِ
It is the word of Allah to all mankind
مِنْ إِنْسِ وَجِنِّ،لِحَقِّـــــهِ
as in humans and jinn, to fulfil His (religious) rights
وَدَواءً كَـــــانَ لِخُلْقِــــهِ
It is a (spiritual) medication to his behavioural lapses
وَدُعَــاءً كَـــانَ لِرِزْقِــــهِ
as it is (a well versed) prayer for his livelihood

وحَلَالٌ فِــيْــهِ بِلَا مِرَى
In it, what is lawful possession is clearly stated
وَحَــرَامٌ فِــيْــهِ عَلى الوَرى
as well as the unlawful, for all mankind
وَشِــفَاءً كَانَ عَلَى الثَرَى
And a cure it is, here on the earth
فَــبِدُونِ سِبَابِ وَلَا كَرَى
That possesses not an iota of abuse to the knower (of the truth)

أَسْمَـــاءُ اللّٰهِ وَوَصْفُــــهُ
(It entails) the names of Allah best best description
وَجَمِيْعُ الحُكْمِ وَنَــــفْذُهُ
(also explains) all religious rulings and their practicals
وَثَــنَـــاءُ اللّٰهِ وَشَأَنُـــــهُ
and the appraisal of Allah and His divine affars
وَأَوَامِرُ فِـيْــهِ وَنَـهْـيُــــهُ
Including what Allah has commanded and prohibited

قِـصَــصٌ فِـيْـهِ وَعِبْـــرَةٌ
Therein are interesting stories and lessons
وَعُلُــومٌ فِـيْــهِ وَعِظَّـــةٌ
(Coupled with) different knowledge and admonition
وَدَوَامًا تُـوجَـدُ حِكْمَــــةٌ
and oftentimes, in it, you (surely) will pick wisdom
وَلَــنَــا فِــيْـــهِ وَصِيَّــــةٌ
and in it, for us are divine recommendations

قُـــرْآنٌ فِــيْــهِ فَضَــــائِلٌ
In the Qur'an, there are lot of morals
لِجِــنَانٍ فِــيْــهِ وَسَــــائِلٌ
In it, there are ways to attain Jannah (Paradise)
ولِــنَــارٍ فِــيْــهِ دَلَائِــــــلٌ
And lot of evidences for the trueness of Hell
قُــــرْآنُ كِـــتَابٌ شَــــامِلٌ
Qur’an is (indeed) a complete book
