HAPPY CHILDREN'S DAY TO ALL OUR CHILDREN.
We thank You Lord for the gift of our children. They are Your heritage and a precious reward. We commit every child/ teens in our schools and institutions to Your loving hands today.
Bless and keep them, surround them with Your protection and preserve them from all evil (Psalm 121:7โ8). Let Your peace rest upon their hearts and Your joy fill their lives.
Grant our children wisdom, understanding, and love for knowledge. As they grow in learning, let them also grow in grace and character, like Jesus, in wisdom, stature, and favor with God and men (Luke 2:52).
Father, order their steps. Keep them from bad influences and lead them in the path of righteousness (Proverbs 3:5โ6). Plant Your Word in their hearts, and let it guide their choices and shape their future (Psalm 119:105).
We declare that our children are taught by the Lord, and great shall be their peace (Isaiah 54:13). They will fulfill Your purpose for their lives and shine as lights in the world in Jesus name ๐ (Matthew 5:14).
We dedicate our children to You afresh, trusting You to complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6).
In Jesusโ name๐

The headteacher of a primary school said:
Whenever parents bring a child to register for Primary One in my school, I must first see the child myself. This helps me to check if everything about the child is fineโspeaking, hearing, seeing, walking, and so on.
After that, I like to ask the child one question that I created many years ago. The question is:
โWhat is the color of a watermelon?โ
Parents and even my fellow teachers are always surprised by this question, because I ask every new child the same thing. Many think that I do not have any other question to ask. But today, I want to explain the secret behind it.
The question looks very simple, but the way a child answers it shows me a lot about his or her character:
If the child says, โIt is red,โ most times it means he depends too much on his parents. He does not help them to buy or cut watermelon at home. He only sees it served in a plate, like food given to a guest.
If the child says, โIt is green,โ it usually means he helps his father to buy watermelon and also helps his mother to cut it at home.
If the child asks, โDo you mean the outside or the inside?โ it shows he is very smart, curious, observant, and likes to ask questions or discuss matters.
If the child answers, โThe outside is green and the inside is red,โ it shows he is intelligent and observant but does not like to argue.
If the child gives a wrong answer, like โIt is blueโ or โIt is yellow,โ it means he cannot properly tell the difference between colors. Such a child will need special teaching and may give his teachers a hard time.
If the child hides behind his mother because of shyness, or waits for his parents to answer for him, it shows he needs special care and encouragement to build confidence and overcome shyness.

The man who does not read books has no advantage over the one who cannot read them.
Teachers can open the door, but you MUST enter it yourself.

Books are crucial in early childhood development, supporting language, cognitive, emotional, and social skills. They foster a love of reading and learning, laying a strong foundation for future literacy and academic success.
Shared reading also strengthens the parent-child bond and provides comfort and stability.
So Parents, make it a duty to read with your child(ren).
