I was in primary 4 when a notable family within the neighborhood lost their father. Their father, a well-respected man in the community came back from the mosque that night earlier than expected to retire to bed and before 10 pm he was no more. We were young but not oblivious to what was going on around us. That was the first time of having to lose someone recognizable to me.
As a Muslim, he was to be buried the next morning with the families expecting the rest of his children to converge before he would be shrouded. I and a friend who happens to be the granddaughter of the deceased were on our way to school the next day when we met her mother as she stays with her grandmother. She was trying to narrate what happened to her mother when her mother cheerfully told her that she saw Alhaji ( the deceased) as she was coming now which was what caused her delay in arriving early to give her her stipend.
We looked at each other and chorused; which Alhaji? She replied, my daddy of course.
Èmi ní ti'yin totoo, we ran back home without waiting for her to continue her story🤣🤣🤣.
Fortunately, before she got home, people already accost her to pay their condolence. She believed non and insisted on having met Alhaji that morning as they had a chit-chat before getting to the place. Till she was shown her father's co**se, she was still in doubt.
👉Could she have truly met Alhaji?

Would Saturday's be complete without having "owanbes" adding glamour to it?😊
Even the event would not be glamorous without seeing nubile women (principally of a young woman suitable for marriage) appear in colourful ROUGES.
Did you have a rouges done recently? 😊

Without mincing words, the prevailing economic hardship in the country is sufficient to make an average Nigerian peevish.
From insecurity, increased prices of food commodities, lack of power supply, unavailability of fuel, more people languishing in poverty, and lots more are things that contributed to our peevishness.
Nevertheless, I wish people realize that not taking things personally is a very significant life skill. If the populace recognizes this, maybe the show of shame displayed after the Super Eagles' defeat by the Black Stars of Ghana would have been completely averted.
This does not nonetheless exonerate our leaders from their irresponsible, inconsistent, and impetuousness in handling issues bedeviling the country.
Our leaders need not wait for Nigerians to display their peevishness before they realize the complete mistrust the populace has for them.
May our lands be restored on the part of peace.

BETWEEN TYRANNY AND TYRANT
A Tyranny can be described as a cruel, harsh, and unfair government in which a person or small group of people have power over everyone else. In government, it could be likened to Autocracy, Dictatorship or Despotism.
People are said to have experienced tyranny in different forms. Either from parents, siblings, employers or even superior subordinates.
If you describe someone's behaviour and treatment of others that they have authority over as tyranny, you mean that they are severe with them or unfair to them.
A Tyrant on the other hand, is any person who abuses the power of position or office to treat others unjustly, viciously, or severely.
They have strong sense of entitlement, grandiose thinking, need for admiration, and lack of empathy which could be labelled as being narcissistic.
Hence, Tyranny is a related term of tyrant. The major difference between tyranny and tyrant is that tyranny is a government in which a single ruler has absolute power while tyrant is an absolute ruler who governs without restriction.
Another difference between them is also in the pronunciation. Check pictures for pronunciation 👇👇
However, self-expression and individuality are the greatest weapons against tyranny.

It is no longer news that the new normal is for young graduates and others who keep submitting CVs in different organizations with no hope of being employed, should find entrepreneurship as a better alternative.
Although, it may sound easy as stated here. Nevertheless, it remains a key niche to attaining financial freedom.
The latest study about entrepreneurs shows that about 400 million people in 54 countries are currently running or starting their own business, potentially creating more than a billion new jobs (“Global Entrepreneurship”, 2012).

The word “Entrepreneur” comes from the Middle French verb “Entreprendre” which means “to begin something; undertake”.

CLOSING REMARKS
Ronald Reagan once said great communicators have a way of capturing our imagination, triggering our participation, and making us see things in a new way even if we don't agree with it.
The training was slated for one month but it was so nifty that it extended to 43 days. we committed ourselves to amassing knowledge that'll enhance our communications skills despite our tight schedule. For me, I realized that if you want to conquer the fear of commanding good communication skills, don't sit home and think about it. Go out and get busy.
Certainly, all participants are Heroes💪💪 though, Heroes may not be braver than anyone else. They are just braver 5 minutes longer. Hence, your stay towards completing the program. After all, to be wholly devoted to some intellectual exercise is to have succeeded in life.
For me, every hour spent with you is grace. And I feel gratitude in my heart each time I looked back at what we were able to achieve together. I would maintain that thanks are the highest form of thought, and that appreciation is happiness doubled by wonder.
The only way to permanently change the temperature in the room is to reset the thermostat. In the same way, the only way to change your level of communication deficiency is to reset your communicative competence.
It's hard to say goodbye 😓 as we've established a bond like that of a family🥰🥰

"Where are you going?"
"I am going to uncle BILL YARDS."
"What are you going there to do?"
"To play BILLIARDS of course."
-------------------------------------
Billiards is the collective noun for games played on a tabletop, usually with several balls, one or more of which is hit by a cue.
It is a two-player cue sport played with two cue balls and one red ball, on a snooker-sized table.
The term originates from French in the 16th century to denote both the game and the cue.
You may want to ask if there exists a difference between billiards and snooker?
While billiards and snooker have similarities, there are also unique qualities that set them apart.
👉 Billiards is played on a table without pockets. The game only has three balls, which are red, white (with a spot), and another white one (without a spot).
On the other hand,
👉Snooker uses a table that has six pockets, but the table is generally larger than pool tables. However, the pockets of the snooker table, though, are smaller. You need 15 balls to play snooker. All these balls do not have a number but are all red. You also need six object balls, which are numbered, along with one cue ball.

Tola's mum is a seamstress. She has a shop on the Island. Her friend, Mama Obi has her shop not far from hers. She sells clothing accessories.
Mama Tola calls on her daughter to get her clothing materials from her friend's store.
Tola uttered, oh! Do you mean your friend the HABERDASHER?
Mama Tola scowls, what!! are you saying my friend is "ALABASHA?" ( someone dirty) she recounts in her well Yoruba Accent.
No mum, I didn't say that. Tola noted. Didn't you say you need me to get you a thread 🧵 needle, button ⚫, and other clothing accessories? She asked.
Yes keh! The mother replied.
Ehnnn now, that is what a HABERDASHER deals with. Tola explained.
Don't just go there to call mama Obi HABERDASHER, she will show you her real faceoooo😀 thinking you've called her "ALABASHA". She warned her daughter.
What do you call someone who sells clothing accessories?
