is a beautiful success story of resilience and determination, dealing with failure and rejection to fulfill his dream of being a world class football player. He had to fight against all odds as a young boy who refused to give up in the face of failure, to make a huge come back to greatness and prominence. It is a wonderful comeback kid story.

It reminds me of a similar story of another British Nigerian football player . They've both faught against all ods of seemingly failure at various levels of growing up trying to be relevant and significant as footballers, to prominence at the Global stage.

Eze was released from the Arsenal football academy at the young age of 13, that he wasn't good enough to play for the club. He cried his heart out and it felt like the whole world had collapsed around him. He was further released from four other football clubs. He was broken and sad but never bitter against those clubs. He never stopped believing in himself and his dream, he kept pushing himself to become better. He even believed that one day he would come back to play for the same Arsenal football club he supported as a kid, which was always been his dream.

Fast forward to August 2025, twelve years later, now a twenty seven years old man in his prime, the same that said no to him, that he wasn't good enough then, came back to sign him from for a whooping £67.5m to be their player. What a turn around, what a beautiful come back story of a boy who refused to give up on his dream.

No matter how life treats you today never give up on your dream, set you goals, focus on them, push yourself beyond limits and pursue that dream. If you don't give up you will surely make it and eventually achieve greatness and prominence. You will be celebrated by the whole world.
