THE GREEDY CROCODILE
Once there was a crocodile. He was really hungry. He saw a boy. The boy had some meat in his hand. He decided he wanted to eat both the boy and his meat. He would trick the boy.
The crocodile said, "Oh! Little Boy! could you please give me some meat?"
The boy said, "Oh no, you will eat me"
The crocodile said, "I promise, I won't eat you."
So the boy went near the crocodile to give him the meat. But, instead the crocodile tried to catch the boy. It caught just his arm.
Then came a rabbit. It wanted to help the boy because he knew that the crocodile was greedy. Immediately the crocodile saw the rabbit, it decided to eat the rabbit first before eating the boy so he let go of the boy's arm.
The boy ran away immediately and escaped and the rabbit too, because of its small body was able to escape through a hole.
The cunning crocodile didn't get his dinner because he was greedy and wicked.

THE LION AND THE MOUSE
A Lion lay asleep in the forest, his great head resting on his paws. A timid little Mouse came upon him unexpectedly, and in her fright and haste to get away, ran across the Lion’s nose. Roused from his nap, the Lion laid his huge paw angrily on the tiny creature to kill her.
Spare me!” begged the poor Mouse. “Please let me go and someday I will surely repay you.”
The Lion was much amused to think that a Mouse could ever help him. But he was generous and finally let the Mouse go.
Some days later, while stalking his prey in the forest, the Lion was caught in the toils of a hunter’s net. Unable to free himself, he filled the forest with his angry roaring.` The Mouse knew the voice and quickly found the Lion struggling in the net. Running to one of the great ropes that bound him, she gnawed it until it parted, and soon the Lion was free.
“You laughed when I said I would repay you,” said the Mouse. “Now you see that even a Mouse can help a Lion.

When my children were young, they loved me telling them bedtime stories. Then, I was just trying to keep them busy but it quickly developed to a daily ritual and I found that I could make them do anything with the promise of a story 😊. Later, my children developed a great love for reading and writing. My first child actually wrote a story book at 10, published and still in circulation years after.
The purpose of this page is to develop a love for reading in children, learn and relearn parenting stuffs amongst other things.
Please join me on this journey of raising great children of substance 🎉🎉🎉
Thank you 🙏🙏🙏
