Yesterday, we rocked our odd socks and took to the streets for our Odd Socks Day Walk, proudly chanting:
💬 “Be a buddy, not a bully!”
💬 "Be a friend, not a bully!"
💬 “Use your power for good!”
💬 “Say NO to bullying!”

Together, we marched around our neighborhood to spread kindness, smiles, respect and positive vibes. 🧦

📌The dangers of bullying cannot be overemphasized.

📌Some of us were bullied back in school, a whole lot turned out to be bullies too.

📌The evil cycle shouldn't continue.

📌Let's keep raising awareness.

🧮Bloomers actively developing their concentration and arithmetic skills through Abacus Mental Maths Training.

💬💭 I Woke up today with this burden in my heart as a stakeholder in education. Are we (The Government, Education Boards, School Leaders, Teachers and even Parents) really doing enough to position these young ones for the future?

THE FUTURE OF JOBS. 🤔

🌐According to the World Economic Forum, 65% of children entering primary school today will ultimately work in completely new jobs that don't yet exist.

🤔Isn't that interesting to know?

🤔So what are the implications?

📌 We're presently at a crossroad where inaction in education and workforce development could severely impact the world economy.

📌The foundations of traditional education and employment are rapidly shifting.

📌There's a decline in enthusiasm for traditional degrees in young people.

📌There's an industry shift from Degrees to Skills.

🤔So what NEXT?

✅There's an urgent call for REFORMATION IN EDUCATION.

✅ Government must rethink their education models. There's no need holding unto what's not working again.

✅ Schools need future-ready curriculum which must focus on adaptability, critical thinking and real-world skills. Theoretical learning alone will do more harm than good.

✅ Entrepreneurship should be part of our curriculum from Primary school.

✅There should be commitment to life long learning.

✅With the rise of Artificial Intelligence (AI), there's an urgent need to facilitate the transition to a new world of learning.

✅The Education Sector can no longer thrive in isolation. There's need for every possible collaboration at all levels to connect the dots to the real-world.

🧑‍🏫I'll be at Bloom Orchids School making changes one step at a time.

🧑‍🏫It's no longer business as usual, our children won't be left out. Technology and Project Based Learning MUST be embraced.

🧑‍🏫The gap between education and real world application must be closed.

🧑‍🏫We must use every tool within our power to ensure the current and future generations are not left behind in the global digital skills race.
