*The Trap of “Sudden Beginnings”: Why do our souls leave Ramadan the same way they entered it?*

I have long believed that failure in the great objectives begins with poor preparation, and that the most dangerous thing a person faces on the path to change is waiting for a “decisive moment” without prior readiness. Today, as we bid farewell to *Rajab* and step onto the threshold of *Sha‘bān*, our question should not be: “When will the crescent appear?” but rather: “Has the soul prepared itself for the journey?”

The painful paradox we witness every year is entering Ramadan with a mindset of *surprise*, expecting a soul that has grown accustomed throughout the year to chaos, dispersion, and submission to desires to suddenly transform into a disciplined and insightful soul. The truth is that whoever has not been trained in the *school of Sha‘bān* in self-mastery and in struggling against habits will enter Ramadan as one of the exhausted: watching the sunset merely to eat, not to rise.

Make *Sha‘bān* a testing laboratory. Repair within it what has been scattered of your intellectual method, and train your minds to *do without* the noise of the digital space and the theft of time. True mastery begins when you possess the resolve to *restrain yourself today*, so that you may reap the fruit of *elevating it tomorrow*.

*Night pill 💊:*

How strange is the state of the young person who searches for his *worth* in the number of followers, and derives his *confidence* from the approval of merciless algorithms. “The trend” has become the new sanctuary at whose thresholds values, principles, and privacy are offered up.

Indeed, whoever runs after the *applause of the masses* sells his freedom at the cheapest price, because he abandons his *honesty with himself* in order to please *ever-changing tastes*. True sovereignty is to possess the courage to say, “I refuse,” when everyone rushes to say, “Yes.” Be an *original* in a world that tries to turn you into an *echo*; for history does not remember imitators—it immortalizes those who leave unique, unmistakable imprints.

To be an *original* means to carry a message and to possess a purpose that goes beyond the limits of momentary pleasure. Those who made history were never obsessed with “people’s approval”; rather, they were driven by a passion to “reform reality.” Seek out your own *distinctive imprint*, one that resembles no one else—for the world does not need more duplicate copies.

*Fame* is a trap when it comes at the expense of principles. To be unknown while you are *master of yourself* is far better than to be famous while you are a slave to the tastes of followers.

Having many followers does not mean *real influence*. Noise may fill the space, but impact settles in the hearts. Seek *substance*, not mere *reach*.

📌 ALLĀH the Exalted said:
{“Our Lord, pour upon us patience, make our feet firm, and give us victory over the disbelieving people.”}

💡 In this verse is a profound order:
They first asked for an outpouring of patience in their hearts, for patience is the foundation of the matter.
Then they asked for steadfastness of heart and foot in battle.
Then they asked for victory over the enemy, which usually results from the first two.

The expression “pour upon us patience” indicates abundance, completeness, and being fully encompassed by it.
