Here is what a senior colleague wrote in 2022 when we launched the first edition of this training. I thought to share it with you again. Please read carefully and learn from it.

Sometimes transformation begins quietly when you simply allow yourself to see what is possible.

He wrote.

Hi All,

I trust that you had a great day.

Here is a personal experience on why I believe this real workplace accounting by Practical Accounting Training Academy is a great opportunity for you.

I graduated from UNILAG with a Second Class Upper degree in Accounting. A year later, a friend reached out and asked if I could prepare financial statements for his company. He needed a bank loan and this was one of the requirements. I asked what records he had been keeping but his response discouraged me. Nothing. But he maintained a bank account for the business.

I formed busy and avoided him because I did not want to embarrass myself.

I had a similar experience right after ICAN induction. This time it was an acquaintance connected to a work colleague so there was no hiding place.

That first assignment brought three more jobs within two months and since then there has hardly been a month I do not earn from this side hustle.

Last month alone, I earned 250,000 Naira from two jobs.
