ABAKMP® - Association of Business Administration and Knowledge Management Professionals is an approved and registered trademark of the Institute of Business Administration and Knowledge Management (IBAKM®) strategically created to connect the Institute certified Business Administration and Knowledge Management professionals globally for the purpose of networking, knowledge sharing, research and de
velopment as well as championing the awareness and publicity of the Institute membership, training and certification programmes through the establishment of Branches, District Societies and Chapters. The Institute of Business Administration and Knowledge Management (IBAKM®) with the approved and registered trademark of Chartered Institute of Business Administration and Knowledge Management (CIBAKM®) is a global professional body for Business Administration and Knowledge Management professionals and practitioners, established in accordance with the provisions of the Companies and Allied Matters Act 1990 CAP C20 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004 and the Trademark Act, CAP T13 Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 2004. The Institute is statutorily empowered under the provisions of the Act to (a) promote, advance and champion the art and science of Business Administration and Knowledge Management in all its aspects and ramifications and to conduct training, with a view to developing human capital in the area and field of Business Administration and Knowledge Management and related subjects, courses and disciplines and to issue certificates of proficiency (b) organize workshops, seminars, symposia, talks, research, consultancy, etc. with a view to promoting, advancing and championing Business Administration and Knowledge Management and related subjects, courses and discipline and to issue certificates of attendance (c) do all such other things as may be considered to be incidental or conducive to the attainment and furtherance of the broad objectives of the Institute. The Institute is duly approved by the Federal Ministry of Education with the consent of Federal Ministry of Justice and the Office of the Attorney General of the Federation as well as the Commercial Law Department of the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment. It is an accredited strategic partner of the National Youth Service Corps, Directorate Headquarters for the purpose of Job Advisory and Counselling, Post-Camp Training and Certification of NYSC Corps Members. The Institute is an innovative membership-driven, training, certification and research-based global professional body for Business Administration and Knowledge Management professionals and practitioners promoting the:

+ Chartered Certified Knowledge Manager (CKM®) professional certification;
+ Chartered Certified Business Administration Practitioner (CBAP®) professional public practice licence;
+ Chartered Certified Knowledge Management Practitioner (CKMP®) professional public practice licence;
+ Certified Global Manager (CGMgr®) specialized certification;
+ Certified Global Management Consultant (CGMC®) specialized certification;
+ Certified Information System Manager and Auditor (CISMA®) specialized certification;
+ Certified Strategic Auditor (CSA®) specialized certification; and
+ Certified Engineering Manager (CEMgr®) specialized certification. In addition, the Institute offers industry based professional training programmes in the broad fields of Business Administration and Knowledge Management leading to the award of the:

1) To champion, promote, advance and regulate the art and science of Business Administration and Knowledge Management in all its aspects and ramifications.
2) To establish professional standards for the registration, membership, training, examination and certification of aspiring and practicing Business Administration and Knowledge Management professionals, practitioners and consultants.
3) To conduct examinations and other form of assessments for the award of the Institute’s Membership Qualifications and Professional Certifications in the grades of Companion-CIBAKM, Doctoral Fellow-Dr./FIBAKM, Fellow-FIBAKM/FCBA/FCKM, Full Member-MIBAKM/MCBA/MCKM, Associate-AIBAKM/ACBA/ACKM, Graduate-GIBAKM/Grad. BA/Grad.KM, Licentiate-LIBAKM/LMBA/LMKM and Affiliate-AfIBAKM/AfMBA/AfMKM.
4) To establish and maintain a register of the Institute’s membership for Chartered Certified Business Administrators (CBA®), Chartered Certified Knowledge Managers (CKM®), Certified Business Administration Practitioners (CBAP®), Certified Knowledge Management Practitioners (CKMP®), Certified Business Administration Practicing Organizations (CBAPO®) and Certified Knowledge Management Practicing Organizations (CKMPO®).
5) To conduct training with a view of developing human capital in the broad fields of Business Administration and Knowledge Management and related subjects, courses and disciplines and award Proficiency Diploma Certificates; Professional Post Graduate Certificate (IBAKM PGCert.), Professional Graduate Diploma (IBAKM GDip.), Professional Advanced/Higher Diploma (IBAKM A/HDip.) and Professional Diploma (IBAKM Dip.).
6) To conduct specialized, innovative and industry based certifications in the broad fields of Business Administration and Knowledge Management and related subjects, courses and disciplines leading to the award of the Certified Global Manager (CGMgr®), Certified Global Management Consultant (CGMC®), Certified Information System Manager and Auditor (CISMA®), Certified Engineering Manager (CEMgr®), Certified Strategic Auditor (CSA®), etc.
7) To organize workshops, seminars, conferences, symposia, talks, etc. with a view of promoting, advancing and championing Business Administration and Knowledge Management and related subjects, courses and disciplines and to issue certificates of attendance.
8) To carry out research and consultancy services in the broad fields of Business Administration and Knowledge Management and related subjects, courses and disciplines.
9) To liaise, partner and collaborate with institutions, organizations, establishments, etc., both national and international, with a view to promoting ethical practices and professional standards in the Business Administration and Knowledge Management professions.
10) To contribute to policy formulation at all levels, both Local, State, National and International, for the sustainability of good governance, economic growth, industrial rejuvenation, etc.
11) To do all such other things as may be considered incidental or conducive to the attainment of the above objects or any of them.
