(Now Available Nation-wide).
VOLUME ONE
This volume starts with the first Chapter of the Holy Quran (Surah Al-Fatihah), which contains only two NNA.
There are four other Chapters of the Holy Quran with only 2-NNA.
The five Chapters are in descending order, and they are as follows:
1, Surah Al-Fatihah (Chapter-1, NNA 2)
2, Surah Al-Hijr (Chapter-15, NNA 2)
3, Surah Ash-Shams (Chapter-91, NNA 2)
4, Surah An-Nasr (Chapter-110, NNA 2)
5, Surah Al-Ikhlas (Chapter-112, NNA 2)
These five Chapters with 2-NNA each forms the content of volume one.
SURAH AL-FATIHAH: The Opening. 7 verses.
This great Chapter carries 2 Nominative Name, ALLAH.
1, In The Name of ALLAH, The Beneficent, The Merciful.
2. All praise is due to ALLAH only, the Lord of the Worlds.
3. The Beneficent, The Merciful.
4. Master of the Day of Judgement.
5. ALLAH alone do we worship and from HIM alone we seek help.
6. Guide us (ALLAH) on the Straight Path.
7. The path of those upon whom Thou hast shown your favours, not the path of those gone astray.
This very special Surah is the opening Chapter of the Glorious Quran (ALLAHU AKBAR). It has 2 Nominative Name, ALLAH, as stated above.
Surah Al-Fatihah contains instructions from ALLAH to His servants.
In this significant Chapter, ALLAH taught HIS servants how to supplicate and speak to HIM, without a mediator.
BRIEF INFORMATION OF INTEREST
Surah Al-Fatihah means ‘The Opening.’ It signifies the start of the one hundred and fourteen Chapters of the Quran and much more. This Chapter is considered the greatest Surah.
It has seven verses that are regularly recited at the start of every unit rakah of salah. The five daily prayers are considered invalid without Surah Al-Fatihah. It has other names, such as, Mother of the Book, The Cure, The Seven oft-Recited Praise, The Foundation.
This great Chapter is one of the earliest revelations (Mecca) to Rosulullah (SAW). It was the first complete Chapter but not the first revelation (Part of Surah Alaq was first/others). Surah Al-Fatihah is both a prayer and an introduction of the Quran, ‘The Opening.’
According to an authentic Hadith, Surah Al-Fatihah is said to be divided into two halves between ALLAH and HIS servant. The first three verses being ALLAH’s half and the last three being for the servant's half.
HADITH SUMMARY: Ibn Abbas reported:
While the Angel Jibril was sitting with the Prophet (SAW), he heard a creaking noise above him. Jibril raised his head and he said, “This is a door of heaven that has been opened today and it has never been opened before today.”
Then an Angel descended from it, and Jibril said, “This Angel descended to the earth today and he has never descended until today.”
The Angel greeted him with peace and he said, “Rejoice in two lights you have been given, which were not given to any Prophet before you: ‘The opening of the Book, Surah Al-Fatihah, and the last verses of Surah Al-Baqarah.
You will never recite a letter from them but that you will be given.” Source: Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 806.
Another narration stated thus:
The Holy Prophet Mohammad (SAW) said: ‘There is no Salah without Surah Al-Fatihah.” (Bukhari 756).
NOTE: For more knowledge on the outstanding qualities of Surah Al-Fatihah, please read the complete text by Professor Hussein Abdul-Kareem, Book Titled: The Meaning of Surah Al-Fatihah,’ published by The Islamic Study Group of Nigeria. Ramadan, 1418 A.H (Jan.1998 CE).
To Be Continued Next Friday, Insha-ALLAH.
FOREWORD
In the name of ALLAH, Most Gracious Most Merciful.
I am delighted to be selected by our late father and Scholar, Professor Hussain AbdulKareem, to write few lines as foreword to the book titled: The Nominative Name of ALLAH.
It is indeed a great privilege to contribute my comment on a well thought-out and researched work by a learned and highly respected Professor of Biochemistry and a foremost Scholar of the Islamic religion.
The title gives clearer understanding to the name ‘ALLAH.’ which is known and referred to by pious scholars as “Lafz Al-Jalaalah,” meaning “The Majestic Expression” or “The Expression of Majesty”. This special study of the expression as it appears in all Chapters of the Qur’an emphasizes the significance of this unique name as distinctive from other attributes or descriptive names of the same ALLAH such as “Rabb” (Lord) “Ar-Rahman” (The Beneficent) “Ar-Rahim” (The Merciful) “Ar-Razaq” (The Sustainer) and so on.
It is however remarkable to note that, only Surah Al-Mujadila (Chapter 58) has in all its twenty two verses, the nominative name, ALLAH, a total of forty in all, while Surah Al-Hijr (Chapter 15) has only two NNA in its 99 verse. Issues like this are areas that call for further research than the scope and intention of this particular book would permit.
Late Professor Hussain Akande AbdulKareem deserves our prayers always for leaving behind such an in-depth book of knowledge of Islam. This book attempts to summarize the entire Qur’an and present reliable hadiths that will assist the readers to appreciate the struggles and victories of the Islamic message, as sent by ALLAH, and delivered by Prophet Muhammed (SAW).
As-Salaam Alaikum Waramathullah Wabarakathu.

BOOK PREFACE
The Nominative Name of ALLAH as it occurs in the QUARAN
ALLAH.
Q.22. HE is ALLAH. There is no god but HE (ALLAH), The Knower of Secrets and declarations. HE is the most Compassionate, the most Merciful.
Q.23. HE is ALLAH, beside whom there is no god (none worthy of worship), The Sovereign, The Holy, The Peace-Giver, The Faith-Giver, The general Overseer, The Almighty, The Omnipotent, The Overwhelming. Glory be to ALLAH beyond what they associate with HIM.
Q.24. HE is ALLAH, The Creator, The Maker, The Designer. HIS are the most beautiful Names. Whatever is in the Heaven and Earth Glorifies HIM. HE is Majestic, The Wise. (Quran: 59, verse 22-24).
Indeed, there are ninety-nine attributive names of ALLAH, of these, the first thirteen are clearly stated in the last verse of Surah Al-Hashr, Chapter-59 of the Holy Quran.
It’s unique that ALLAH has only one single Nominative Name known as, ‘ALLAH.’ This nominative name now referred to as NNA, is specially arranged by ALLAH in the Holy Quran.
The arrangement and it serious implications will be presented in the Eleven Volumes of this special publication you’re about to study.
