"This is what passion looks like. Hundreds of educators gathered at the Muson Centre, Lagos, for The Annual Educators Conference 2026, learning, laughing, and leaving ready to transform every classroom in Africa.

If you attended, tell us your biggest takeaway in the comments!

"Africa's future will not be determined by the number of children in school, but by what those children learn, and how effectively our systems support teachers." - Dr. Obiageli Ezekwesili, Former Vice President, World Bank Africa Region & Former Minister of Education

Stop. Read that again.

This was the message delivered on behalf of Dr. Oby Ezekwesili at the Annual Educators Conference 2026, carried to that stage with conviction and clarity by her Chief of Staff, Dr. Jude Akubude.

We have spent decades celebrating enrolment numbers. Counting how many children are in classrooms. And those numbers matter.

But they are not enough.

A child in a classroom with an unsupported, underequipped, uninspired teacher is not learning. A system that measures attendance but not understanding is not educating. A continent that fills schools without filling them with quality is not rising.

This is the conversation that dared to have. And Dr. Jude stood in that room and delivered it without apology.

Share this message. Because the teachers who hear these words need to know that someone, at the highest levels, is fighting for them.

"We are at a critical crossroads in history...the true Gross Domestic Product is teachers." - Dr. Mrs. Ronke Soyombo, Registrar/Chief Executive, TRCN

Stop. Read that again.

Not oil. Not tech. Not infrastructure.
*Teachers.*

At the Annual Educators Conference 2026, Dr. Mrs. Ronke Soyombo didn't come to celebrate. She came to challenge. To remind every educator in that hall that the moment we are living in is not ordinary, it is decisive. Africa is at a fork in the road, and the people who determine which path we take are standing in classrooms every single day.

When the Registrar of TRCN stands before a room full of teachers and tells them they are the true GDP of this nation, that is not a compliment. That is a mandate.

Every policy. Every economy. Every innovation. Every leader.
All of it traces back to a teacher.

Thank you, Dr. Soyombo, for saying what needed to be said, at exactly the right moment, in exactly the right room.

Great schools don't happen by accident. They happen because of leaders like her.

Meet our panellist, Olayinka Obafisoye, Head of School at Meadow Hall Education, one of Nigeria's premier learning institutions.

Olayinka represents the very best of what Nigerian school leadership looks like: grounded, strategic, and relentlessly committed to creating environments where both students and teachers can flourish.

At , she brings the perspective that only someone who has sat in the head's office, navigated parent expectations, managed staff, and driven academic outcomes can offer. It is going to be real. It is going to be rich.

100% visa success rate since 2011. Let that sink in.

In an industry where broken promises and failed applications are far too common, *NUBI Educational Counselling* has built a track record that speaks entirely for itself.

That is not luck. That is expertise, diligence, and a team that refuses to cut corners when a student's future is on the line.

NUBI covers it all: GCSEs, A Levels, IB, undergraduate, postgraduate, scholarship applications, and career counselling. Whatever stage a student is at, NUBI meets them there.

This is why they are a partner at . Because Africa's students deserve consultants with a proven record, not promises.
