The glass dish, once a perfect round ⭕️,
Now fractured, scattered on the ground 💔.
Each shard, a piece of what we shared 👫,
A whispered promise, broken, bared 😔.

The edges cut, like words left unsaid 🤐,
A longing glance 👀, a kiss instead 💋.
The light that caught within its gleam ✨,
Now fractured, mirroring a broken dream 😭.

But in the scattered pieces, I see 👀,
The way you looked at me, so free 🥰.
A spark ignites 🔥, a playful flame 😏,
A teasing glance 😜, a whispered name 🤫.

The broken dish, a playful game 🕹️,
To mend the cracks, to re-ignite the flame 🔥.
With careful hands 🤲, we'll piece it back 🧩,
And build a bridge, upon this crack 🌉.

For in the fragments, we find delight 💖,
A broken heart💔, with love so bright ✨.
We'll weave a tapestry of shattered glass 💎,
And find in love 💕, a love that will last 💖.

How to write a formal letter
With the advent of email, it is becoming less and less common to write letters, but the few letters that you will write will probably be very important ones, such as covering letters for job applications, covering letters for questionnaires or surveys which are part of your research, or letters of complaint to your bank manager.
It is very important, therefore, that your letters have the desired effect on the reader. In order to achieve this, they should be:
in the correct format
short and to the point
relevant
free of any grammatical or spelling mistakes
polite, even if you're complaining
well presented
This guide will give some general advice on letter writing and includes some sample letters.
If you are replying to a letter it can be a good idea to note how that letter has been formatted and expressed.
Your address, but not your name, usually goes in the top right hand corner. You would not usually include your telephone number or email address here, but this would be permissible.
The name and address of the person you're writing to goes below this, on the left. If you don't have a specific name, always at least try to put some sort of title. You should always, however, address the letter to a particular person if at all possible.
The position of the date is more flexible. It can go on the left or the right, usually below the addressee details. The format of the date is also flexible; it could be written 5 April 2003, 5th April 2003, 5/4/03 or 05/04/03. Avoid putting the day and month the other way round.
The salutation at the beginning of the letter depends on whether or not you have the name of the person. If you do, write Dear Mr. Ochs, Dear Mrs. Baez, Dear Miss Perhacs, or, if you don't know the marital status of a woman, or if she has written this, Dear Ms. Bunyan. It is possible to write Dear Robert Fripp or Dear Alison Statton, but many people consider this awkward. If the person has a specific title, use this: Dear Dr. Hammill. If you don't know the name of the person, you would traditionally write Dear Sir. This is clearly somewhat sexist, so many people prefer Dear Sir/Madam or Dear Sir or Madam.
It is common now to put the subject of the letter directly below the salutation. This would be in bold or underlined. The purpose is to give the reader an idea of what the letter is about before reading it, and to be able to pass it on to a more appropriate person if necessary. If you are replying to a letter which had a reference (or ref.) on it, you should repeat this on your letter, probably on the same line as the date, but on the other side of the page. Write Your ref.: # # /xx
The content of your letter should be as short as possible, divided into short, clear paragraphs.
It is common to end your letter with a phrase such as I look forward to hearing from you. It's OK to do this, but it's a bit meaningless.
To end the letter, you would normally write Yours sincerely if you have started the letter with the name of the person, or Yours faithfully if you have started with something like Dear Sir.
Sign you name directly below this and then print it below the signature.

The English Tense System
Many English learners worry too much about tense. If you stopped 100 native English speakers in the street and asked them about tense, one of them might give you an intelligent answer if you were lucky. The other 99 would know little about terms like "past perfect" or "present continuous". And they would know nothing about aspect, voice or mood. But they can all speak fluent English and communicate effectively. Of course, for ESL it helps to know about tenses, but don't become obsessed with them. Be like those native speakers! Speak naturally!

The links below are to lessons for each of the 12 basic tenses. In each lesson we look at two aspects of the tense:

Structure: How do we make the tense?
Use: When and why do we use the tense?
Some lessons look at additional aspects, and most of them finish with a quiz to check your understanding.
Present Tense
I do do, I do
Present Continuous Tense
I am doing, I am doing tomorrow
Present Perfect Tense
I have done
Present Perfect Continuous Tense
I have been doing
Past Tense
I did do, I did
Past Continuous Tense
I was doing
Past Perfect Tense
I had done
Past Perfect Continuous Tense
I had been doing
Future Tense
I will do
Future Continuous Tense
I will be doing
Future Perfect Tense
I will have done
Future Perfect Continuous Tense
I will have been doing

The Creative and the most Famous Lines of my novel "A Fabulous Rapport"

"Mummy, whenever I close my eyes for sleep, I seem to lose my way. I do not feel any pain in the sleep and then I watch a dream, sometimes about school, sometimes about you and Papa, sometimes about friends. So, how dreams are made?" Kevin asked.

"I once asked this question to my mother and she told me that there is a big tree in our heart that we cannot see. Our dreams are written on every leaf of that huge tree and when we think about something for a whole day or whole week or whole year, the leaf of that dream falls on the ground and that's how our eyes magnify that dream but I did not accept the words of my mother. And later I felt that it is not a tree, it is a river that is flowing in our heart that we cannot see. A big boat is sailing on that river. The boat carries all our wishes and desires in the form of dreams. Whenever we think about something for a whole day, the boat throws the dream of that thing on the bank of the river, and when we close our eyes for sleep, our eyes pick that dream from the bank and that's how we see that dream."
