4 REASONS WHY YOU THINK THINGS ARE NOT WORKING FOR YOU.
Let me tell you a short story;
A few weeks before my Nysc passing out parade, I was walking through a path when I saw this caption, "workers needed pay is 3k daily" it was like a Dream come through for me, I have always prayed for a job, and here was it with little or no effort.
There was a prompt to send details to a particular phone number which I did.
The next day I got a text asking me to come for a job interview at a specific location I wasn't familiar with.
I needed to pay a price, so I started making inquiries and the results I got showed that the place was a primary school.🤔
On the specified date I was there before the time for my interview, I was shocked to meet many others who were assembled in a hall.
A guy in a suit later came to Adress us about the job specification which was to network for a particular company .he painted so well how we were going to be given the opportunity to travel abroad plus many additional bonuses. But we needed to pay what he called start-up capital.
It looked so great that I quickly asked if I could make a deposit which I did immediately .
When I went back home I decided to research, Thank God I had an android phone.
I later saw myself calling to ask for a refund which I didn't get.😮💨😮💨let me save the remaining part for another day.
Here are a few reasons why you think things are not working for you;
1)You hold others responsible for your progress ; At various stages of your life, you've blamed people, for whatever you think might not be working;
√ your uncle who didn't get you a job.
√ Asuu that has made you stay at home for months. √ Your parents who can't pay your bills .
√ your spouse who is always distracting you.
√ your kids who won't let you focus, and many others...
Here is a solution, Quit playing the blame game,take responsibility for your life, define what you want to see, and work towards it.
2)You have refused to make a move; You keep making plans without actually taking the required step. I want to become a writer, what
Steps are you taking to actualize it?
Solution; Take a step no matter how small as soon as you have a plan, "the journey of a thousand miles usually starts with a step".
3)Fear:You are filled with too many questions all geared towards the negative aspect of what you want to do.
√what if it doesn't work out
√what if I fail
√what if I don't get it......
√You know all those who tried it and failed
The easiest way to fail is to entertain fear.
Solution:Tell yourself you can do it and go ahead to do it.
4) You are waiting for a miracle :Fact is, you are the miracle you have been waiting for, things will only happen if you are ready and willing to make them happen.
Solution : As you are praying for that miracle,do something , someone once said another name for miracle is effort.
The problem with most people is that
They want personal development, but are not willing to pay any price.
They keep praying for miracle money without effort.
They have read about digital skills multiple times but never made any effort toward knowing more?
Let me tell you one bitter truth, you can type amen on money-related posts as many times as you want, but without effort and willingness to pay the price, you will still not get it.
Let me also shock you, personal development doesn't end at going to school.
What else can you boast of being able to do or have apart from your educational qualification?
Don't get me wrong, going to school is good, but personal development especially by acquiring a digital skill is an added advantage.
You might be wondering what digital skills are, I'd be telling you more about them in my subsequent posts, but for now, locate why you think things are not working, match it with a solution, and thank me later.
