AGPSA Mizzou 2025–2026
As I prepare to conclude my tenure as Public Relations Officer of the Association of African Graduate and Professional Students at the University of Missouri, I would like to reflect on this role and express my gratitude.
During my service, I prioritized creating engaging, high-quality content to enhance the visibility of the Association. Through strategic media initiatives, we increased engagement on one of our major platforms from 150 views to 23,000 views. This growth underscores the impact of intentional communication.
I firmly believe that any endeavor worth undertaking deserves to be executed with excellence. I have also observed that creativity flourishes most in an environment where space and support are deliberately cultivated.
Furthermore, professional experience has reinforced my conviction that the composition of a team directly influences the scale of achievement. The AGPSA Executive Committee 2025–2026 exemplified collaboration, dedication, and vision. It was a privilege to serve alongside such a committed group.
The opportunity to apply my new media expertise and photography skills in this role was invaluable. I am grateful for the trust placed in me to represent the Association publicly.
I also subscribe to the principle that seeking assistance is essential for growth. Recognizing the need for support, I invited volunteers to assist with operational tasks, allowing me to focus on strategic development. This approach proved effective.
I extend my sincere appreciation to the AGPSA community for the opportunity to serve. I look forward to my next role and to supporting the incoming team in advancing the Association’s mission.
Cheers to new opportunities and impact!

Looking back at my academic journey and career, it’s been a journey indeed! From Ibadan to Columbia ,the classrooms changed, but the calling didn’t.
To my younger self in that first pic: The future you were uncertain of, is beautiful and great!
Each year it can only get better!

Christ is My Anchor
Someone recently asked me how I stay strong in the face of troubles. I didn’t think twice before answering: Because Christ is my anchor.
For sailors, an anchor is not optional. In a storm, it’s the only thing that keeps the boat from drifting, crashing, or being swept out to sea. It digs deep into the ocean floor and holds the vessel steady, even when waves rage and winds howl. Without it, no sailor can rest. The boat would be at the mercy of every current.
That’s exactly what Christ does for me.
Having my anchor in Jesus Christ is my surest place of rest in life. When the winds of life blow as if they will sweep me away, I stand firm because my foundation is strong. He holds me secure, stable, and unmoved.
A boat cannot safely reach its destination and remain steady at the shore without being held down. In the same way, I cannot navigate life’s storms without Christ holding me.
Don’t be tossed to and fro. Find your anchor in Christ. He is the surest, safest place.
He is my anchor. My security. My peace.
Happy Sunday!
