2022 UTME: JAMB Reads Riot Act To Candidates

Ahead of the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) slated for between May 6 and 14, 2022, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has reminded prospective candidates of the need to adhere strictly to examination etiquette, warning that stiff penalty awaits anyone who runs afoul of the laid down rules and regulations governing the examination.



The board reiterated its zero tolerance for examination infractions and other unwholesome practices that could undermine the sanctity of its examination.



The board in statement maintained that as a responsible organisation, it is committed to providing a level playing field for all candidates in its upcoming 2022 UTME.



The Head, Public Affairs and Protocols (PAP), Dr. Fabian Benjamin, while fielding questions from journalists in Abuja on the code of conduct expected of UTME candidates and the level of the board’s preparations for the examination said, “The Board’s UTME, apart from being a medium for assessing candidates’ ability, is also used to rank their performance in a cohort of aspirants for tertiary education.”





He added that the UTME as a standardised test, is guided by rules and regulations that must be strictly followed by both the examiners and examinees to arrive at a valid and specific objective.



He stated further, “Examination etiquette is encapsulated in the candidates’ code of conduct comprising rules and regulations that must be followed by all candidates before, during and after the examination.”



He advised the candidates to strictly adhere to the examination schedule as stated in their notification slips which would be made available in due course and would feature the venue, scheduled date, session and time of the examination.

2022 UTME EXAMINATION ,HOW READY ARE YOU?
Many of you will noticed how I have toughen up in character to motivate you all to read. Thus, I expect you to activate same spirit on your studies. Reduce any activity which cannot help you boast your studies.
Olevel, have more than one chances a year for students to make up their grades, wassce, neco, including Gce but, jamb has one opportunity. Just one chance for students to either pass, or wait to seat for it another year. I am not using this to frighten you my dear ones, I am only encouraging everyone of you to forfeit distractions and give this exam your best notch. Read like you desire to be among the best. Take up more questions as much as possible on your own in the past questions to evaluate yourself and accustomed to frequent asked or repeated questions.
Lock the door of your mind against partying, leisure and friends to pass in flying colors. I bet you, you will have time for them in future. Concentrate deeply in making good grade, and you will be rewarded with it. I thank you all for being my students, and continually I pray for your success. Prayers without work is fe**sh. WAYS TO MAKE THE BEST GRADES
Success is not meant for some certain group of persons. Anybody can achieve that lustre height and take home the Laurel.
There is nothing that can be achieved without sacrifice: students that trade-off leisure hours to push up there grade are not super human beings. Such people only understood the gap between their studies. Examiner will only construct questions from the scheme, and well informed candidate should know how proficient he/she is on various topics outlines from his own assessment.
The school scheme has provide a guide to how a serious students can plan their reading habits. Self-education is parts of discipline and a way to identify the studious students.
Internet is a tool the technology has made available to make us more vast in knowledge. I have come to know this truism that,"what we surf for is what we become." When you look out or search for knowledge you will definitely become knowledgeable through your search.

DONT GET STUCK IN THE STORM
We can be weathering in the wrong places if we are not in the same page with God. God has the design of each one of us and has our manuals stack in safe place and can only reach out when we walk with him, he shows forth to guide us through the holy spirits. Some certain storms are as a result of our quest for self sufficiency, rebellion to be in control of our lives and destiny. Apparently, to not fellowship with God can fetch steep prices for the disobedience. The distance we can cover is subject to our conveyor. We need God to be in speed of our potentials, career and goals.
It is unwise to stay in derailed that can cause you delay. Get back to your maker, reconcile with him to have access to your full course. Life is not difficult as it seems, we all get into detours but how we navigate through them is what matters. Many a time difficulties are created to test our faith and in disguise to shoot us to another realm of achievement.
