Let me break these things down for you.
If someone earning 500k monthly gifts you 20k. This means that he woke up, went to work, for almost one and a half days just to work for you.
If someone earning 200k monthly gifts you 20k. Know that this person gave you everything they earned for almost 3 days.
Now, imagine yourself working for someone for three days free of charge.
If someone feeds you twice a day, let’s assume that each meal is so cheap that it costs just N1,500. That’s N90,000 for a month. Now imagine if the person’s salary is 300k monthly. This means that the person spends 30% of their salary just to feed you.
This represents 9 days of work. So, every month they dedicate 9 days of sweat and labor just to feed you when they could have simply pushed you away.
We have not talked about other things oh.
Be more grateful. Thank your mama and papa and that person who always remembers to give you handouts, especially.
That person who accommodated you and let you use their light, eat their food, use their water, and watch their Netflix and Dstv, respect and appreciate them. They are making so many sacrifices just to help you. It’s not easy to make those sacrifices.
If you have someone that assists you even in the smallest way especially financially, you don’t know how privileged you are. Don’t take it for granted.
