Fellowship Coverage

Fellowships are for the full duration of the Bachelor of Tech, Science and Engineering programs for 4- 5 years
Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for this Fellowship are as follows:

The Fellowship will only apply to students admitted into any one of the 7 participating public universities.
The Foundation will consider gender diversity as part of the selection criteria.
The candidate shall not be a recipient of any other fellowship/scholarship/grants for the same purposes as being supported by Airtel Africa Foundation.
Only new entrants shall be eligible. (100 level)
The Candidate must demonstrate financial need to be eligible for the program
Scored a minimum of 230 in JAMB
Possess 5 credits, including English and mathematics, in one sitting.
Applicants must have JAMB results and an admission letter, a School ID card & WAEC certificate/ result to be shortlisted

Hiring demand for tech workers is estimated to accelerate in the next five years, with the U.S. alone adding more than a million new tech jobs by the end of the decade. To meet the challenges and rising demand for tech experts, Open Institute of Technology (OPIT), a new online higher education institution, has introduced two degrees.

They are a BSc in Modern Computer Science and an MSc in Applied Data Science in AI.

Two students of Chrisland Schools, Oluwabukolami Adeyemi and Mmesomachukwu Okonkwo recently emerged ‘Tops in the World’ in the Cambridge International AS Level and International General Certificate of Secondary Education(IGSCE) examinations respectively.

Having gained the highest mark in English as second Language (Speaking Endorsement) in IGSCE, Okonkwo got the Top in the World award, while Adeyemi who gained the highest mark in the world in the Cambridge International AS Level Law, got Top in the World award as well as the High Achievement Award for Cambridge AS Level Psychology.
