ICDFA SheSec Africa Initiative – GRC Engineering Cohort 2026
We are pleased to announce that applications are now officially open for the GRC Engineering Cohort 2026 under the ICDFA SheSec Africa Initiative.

This is a fully funded scholarship programme, with applications being received through the ICDFA Charity Foundation, the official provider and sponsor of this initiative.
Eligibility: WOMEN ONLY
This cohort is exclusively designed to empower and develop women into highly skilled professionals in governance, risk, and compliance (GRC).

Why this matters:
The future of cybersecurity requires diversity, leadership, and competence. Through SheSec Africa, ICDFA is building a pipeline of women equipped to lead, secure, and transform digital ecosystems across Africa and beyond.

The Directorate of Training is pleased to formally announce that applications for the 2026 Cohort of the GRC Engineering Programme (Fully Funded Scholarship) under the ICDFA SheSec Africa Initiative will officially open on:

Monday, 4th May 2026

This special cohort is strictly dedicated to women, as part of ICDFA’s strategic commitment to advancing female participation, leadership, and excellence in cybersecurity governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) across Africa and beyond.

The ICDFA SheSec Africa Initiative represents a bold step towards bridging the gender gap in cybersecurity by providing fully funded, fully structured, high-impact, and career-focused training opportunities for aspiring and emerging female professionals.

Key Highlights of the 2026 Cohort:
Programme Track: GRC Engineering
Funding: 100% Fully Funded Scholarship (No Tuition Fees)
Eligibility: Women only (exclusive cohort under SheSec Africa)
Maximum Intake: 50 participants only (highly competitive and selective)
Training Model: Intensive, lab-driven, and competency-based approach aligned with global best practices
Objective: To develop highly skilled female professionals capable of driving governance, risk management, compliance, and cybersecurity strategy in organizations

Due to the limited slot of only 50 participants, interested applicants are strongly advised to prepare and submit their applications promptly upon opening.

This initiative underscores ICDFA’s continued commitment to:
