Good morning,

As schools re-open in all the 13 LGA in Nasarawa State today, we encourage all school management teams, Parents, Students/Pupils to adhere strictly to COVID-19 protocols and guidelines in all the do. These guidelines includes;
i. Mandatory use of facemask for staffs and students and to maintain social distance in the school environment.
ii. Personal hygiene such as hand-washing and application of hand sanitizers must be strictly observed.
iii. Temperature checks by the use of infrared thermometers for staffs, students/pupils and visitors within the school premises.

NHGSFP: Feeding Leaders of tomorrow..

Federal government provides the funding while the state government is responsible for the implementation of the intervention or Programme.

School Feeding: Nourishing our children, Engaging our Farmers.

NHGSFP is a government-led cost effective school feeding Programme that uses farm produce that is locally grown by small holder farmers to feed pupils in public primary schools.

At 70 Naira per child per day, the NHGSFP is a nutrition and education intervention programme, that provides opportunities to assist vulnerable families feed their children while providing an incentive to send them to school.

National Home Grown School Feeding Programme NHGSFP is one of the Social Investment Programmes of the Federal Government of Nigeria. NHGSFP is focused on the Nigerian child, their development, nutrition and growth.
