Matchday Returns: NAPSS League Cup Second Leg Kicks Off Tomorrow

The much-anticipated second leg of the NAPSS League Cup officially kicks off tomorrow as teams return to the pitch to continue the battle for supremacy. Following an intense first leg filled with excitement and competitive football, all eyes are now on the next phase of the tournament.
Current standings heading into the second leg as Political Dynamos stands first while the Spartans takes the second position the Warriors and Political Gladiators comes third and last respectively.

With the competition becoming tighter, each team will be aiming to improve their position and secure victory as the race for the top intensifies. Supporters should expect thrilling performances, determination, and entertaining football from all sides.

Napssites and football enthusiasts are encouraged to come out in large numbers to support their teams and uphold the spirit of unity, sportsmanship, and healthy competition within the association. The league continues tomorrow.

NAPSS NATIONAL CONVENTION 2026 DRAWS THE CURTAIN ON A REMARKABLE ERA OF LEADERSHIP AND SERVICE

The National Association of Political Science Students (NAPSS) National Convention 2026, themed “Political Participation, Power and the Role of NAPSSITES in Nation Building,” has officially come to an end after a successful and impactful gathering of Political Science students, leaders, and stakeholders across the country in Anambra State. The convention served as a platform for intellectual engagement, leadership interaction, and discussions centered on strengthening the role of students in national development and democratic participation.

The NAPSS Unilorin Chapter proudly acknowledges and appreciates its delegates, Ojo Rhoda Anuoluwa and Senator Oluwadamilare Kuti, for representing the chapter with excellence, dedication, and commitment throughout the convention. Their active participation and conduct reflected the values and prestige of the chapter at the national level.

The chapter also extends profound appreciation to the outgoing National President of NAPSS, Agbudeloye Helen Felix, and the outgoing General Secretary, Abdulqudri Abdulfaruk, for their remarkable leadership, unwavering dedication, and outstanding service to the association during their tenure. As the National Conference in Awka officially comes to an end, NAPSS UNILORIN once again recorded a remarkable achievement on the national stage through the outstanding recognition of two of its distinguished leaders.

The National President of the National Association of Political Science Students (NAPSS), Comrade Agbudeloye Helen Felix, was honoured with the prestigious award of Political Icon in recognition of her exemplary leadership, dedication, and impactful contributions to the growth and development of the association at the national level.

Also, the National General Secretary, Comrade Abdulqudri Abdulfaruk, was awarded Most Supportive Executive for his commitment, teamwork, and unwavering support throughout the tenure.
